I was waiting for weeks before you bring one out of the bag and third was that his only work in poetry or were there others? Is there a poem in arabic to learn a poem or no? Asselam aleykoum, ya akhy it's a very good video but at the end of the video you said "may Allah have mercy on you, O Imam" you make an invocation in his favor directly and then by calling him by saying "yaa imam" then I advise you to go and find out about calling the dead like this
Walaykum salam ww. Dear brother, thank you for your advice. But this is not addressed to the Imam directly, but the second person pronoun is used rhetorically. There are many examples for this in the sunnah and the sayings of the sahaba. For example: ولما دُفِنَ أبو عبيدة بن الجراح -رضي الله عنه- دخل قبره معاذ بن جبل وعمرو بن العاص والضحاك بن قيس، فلما سفوا عليه التراب، قال معاذ: رحمك الله أبا عبيدة، كنت والله ما علمت من الذاكرين الله كثيرا، ومن الذين يمشون على الأرض هونا، وإذا خاطبهم الجاهلون قالوا سلاما، ومن الذين يبيتون لربهم سجدا وقياما. اهـ.
Making Interpretation of the meaning of Attributes, which are Mutashabihat, doesn't mean their denial. It is explanation of their meanings. It is obvious for any sane person. The entire Umma embraced him as one of the greatest scholars of all times. As for the slandering the scholars, Ibn Asakir in his Tabyin Kadhib al-Muftari states: "The flesh of scholars is poisoned, and that Allah is exposing those who belittle them is well known."
