A very beautiful story indeed. Allahu Akbar.
May Allah allow us to be of those who put their complete trust in Allah Subhanata’la and help us put the needs of the needy over ours. Ameen.

Haha I only say that because my father once raised himself in the middle of the streets as a child yet there not a single day went by that he was called miskeen. He was called big tummy by his own family and it stuck so much so that I was called son of the big tummy. Though years ago I replaced that nickname with a better one. Instead of calling him the big tummy, I called him the ultimate survivor to put respect to the name that I carry

Akhyl kareem, the prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam prohibited us from using words which imply equality between ALLAH and His creatures even if we aren't intending to make Him equal with His creatures.
It is reported on the authority of Qatelah (radhiallahu anhu) that a Jewish man came to the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam and said to him: "Verily, you (Muslims) commit Shirk, for you say: "As Allah Wills and as you will;" and you say: "By the Ka'abah!" And so the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam ordered whoever wanted to swear, to say: "By the Rabb of the Ka'abah!" and to say: "As Allah Wills, then as you will." (Narrated by An-Nasaa`i, who said that it is authentic)
So it would be much better for you to say I'm so thankful to ALLAH then you coz that will make you tawheed more complete.
      BaarakAllahu feek akhy

Tawakkul is the noun. Tawakkala is its verb.

Assalamalaikum, This Story is wrong based on the Man's dream. U mentioned Riya was there in his scale of deeds and Allah he forgave him for that, but Riya is Shirk-e-Asgar and it is against Allah's statement " Innallaha la yagfiru man yushraka bihi wa yagfiruna ma duna dhalik liman yashau" ( Nisa : 48 ) and it shall never happen that Allah says something and do something contradictory to it. And no one is more truthful than Allah.
