Iirc the son was anas ibn malik. This is actually an etiquette which we should follow, when others ask for Du’as we should make it at that very moment. May Allah increase us all.

Seeking knowledge isn’t what I am missing. Seeking knowledge has become a way to distract myself from doing stuff. This is sadly nothing for me. I need situations where I can use the knowledge I acquire. Otherwise there is no purpose to seeking.

The point of the video is to put things into perspective and to motivate you to cure your own laziness. Ironically, expecting a TH-cam video to cure your laziness single-handedly is the act of laziness in itself.
The salaf used to travel long distances just to get a hadith, mean while we have access to collections on our own devices. Subhannallah
