Al-Nawawi (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: Similarly the scholars forbade a man to look at the face of a beardless youth if he is handsome, whether with or without desire, and whether it is free of fitnah (temptation) or there is the fear thereof. This is the correct view which was favoured by the scholars. This was stated by al-Shaafa’i and the prominent scholars of his madhhab (may Allaah have mercy on them). The evidence for this is that a beardless youth is, in some ways, like a woman; he may be desired as a woman is desired, and his form may be beautiful like that of a woman, and many of them may be more beautiful than many women. The prohibition applies more to them for another reason, which is that in their case there may result from attachment to them types of evil that do not occur in the case of women. End quote.

To say he is Ashari in aqeedah, ain't quite correct. Indeed, he approved some of their ideas and presented them in Sharh Sahih Muslim, but in overall, he critized them and was athari in creed. Allah knows best.

Mahmoud Sukkari there are 3 aqeedahs. Ashari, maturidi and athari. Ashari and maturidi are very similar and are considered part of sunni orthodoxy. Athari is mostly followed by the hanbali school of though. Athari are very opposed to the asharis/maturidi. Majority of shafis and malikis are ashari, Majority of hanafis are maturidi and majority of atharis are hanbali

In fact, this is implied by the Quran and Hadeeth, to glorify what Islam glorifies, as that is a sign of Taqwa! In fact it is makrooh to extend your feet towards the Qibla, without a valid excuse. similarly, with the Quran, ...etc ! AhlusSalaf/AhlusSunnahWalJamaah all regard this position and attest to it.
Merciful Justice There is a hadith saying we should pay a certain zakah, but Rasululah used the old measure of his time. I do know it is makrooh to pee while facing the Qiblah, or your back facing the Qiblah, but then there was an occasion where the Prophet (S) peed facing the Qiblah, but there was a barrier between him and the Qiblah, a wall. And that is how the Ulemaa ( well, the majority ) said it was okay to pee facing the Qiblah if there was a wall between the one peeing and the Qiblah. The mosque seems closed. However, we clearly have different opinions, and that is *okay*. You believe your thing, and I believe my thing. But I am not sure about this, so I would prefer to ask a scholar about this.

Hope this isn't late but according to the shafi madhab it is mustahab to fast every day except on the days of Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha, and the three days after Eid al-Adha (i.e. the Days of Tashriq). Abu Musa al-Ash’ari, may Allah be pleased with him, narrated that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, “Hell becomes constricted for the one who fasts the entire year, like this …” And he made a gesture with his hand. (Bayhaqi). Imam al-Nawawi commented, “This means that such a person will not enter the Fire, or that there will be no space for him therein.”
