  • Hi everyone-
Today I am doing an experiment of sorts by pulling shots with beans I roasted less than 15 minutes ago. I am curious to see how the shot pulls, examine the crema, and also see how it tastes.
Let me know if you have done this before and how your test went.

Great tip! Shot looked great buy the way. I'll take your word for it on the bad taste though. What would you recommend on how many days after roasting to use those beans? Thanks a lot! 👍

So I recently did an experiment with India Malabar beans on this. I tasted it everyday for 1 week after I roasted the beans. I tried it as espresso only and as a milk based drink. I found that for milk based drinks I liked the beans the most after 3 days up to 6 days, and as espresso only I liked it the most after day 7... I dont drink a ton of espresso shots so now I wait 3 days.. FYI, I have a roasting vid coming out tomorrow which you might like. Cheers!

@@coffeeauthority oh very good to know. I think I may need to wait longer than a day after I roast. Makes sense that my shots taste a little on the bitter side. I'll keep an eye out for your next vid! Cheers!
