Daiwa a tolerances don’t come anywhere near shimano’s. The ci4 material shimano uses isn’t anything like the cheap zion plastic Daiwa puts on their reels.
@@baliton2006 perhaps you should look into Alan Hawk's review on recent shimanp products including their Stella series. Not saying he is the only guy to look into, but he makes great points why 2019 Stella is inferior to 2020 Saltiga. There are good reasons for any real hard core anglers are switching to Saltigas as well after stella failing. 30000 size? What a disasterous design.

Shimano makes good stuff usually but if you get a lemon they wont make it right

I’m going to pass, I like my 2020 TPs, I definitely don’t want CI4 on my expensive reel.
