I purchased a 2000 and returned it, when I would retrieve line under pressure(retrieving my lure in water) I could hear something grinding. At first I thought it was the line roller bearing but no it was something inside. I just stuck with my stradic and vanford, they both work awesome.
I have a 4000PG on the way from another Japanese dealer (Plat). I wanted a lower retrieve ratio. I also ordered a 5000 size spool. As the 4000 and 5000 have the same size body. I'm using mine mainly for pike. By the way those washers aren't drag washers. They are shims/washers for line lay. You prob won't need them. But if the line lay is off you can add or remove the shims. They come with Diawa reels too. The Vanquish is Shimano's top end light reel. But I wanted the Twin Power as it is as you say sturdier. It's a case of priorities. 😊 This years Twin Power is so close to Stella it's not worth paying the extra. Usually that's not the case.
I got my 3000 size TP as soon as it was released and I absolutely LOVE it. This new Twin Power and my 23 Vanquish are my go-to reels for all my inshore needs!
Agree. BTW, can you also talk about the in hand difference between 2500SHG and C3000HG? Seems the body is of same size but I can see the drag power is so different. If the major target is bass, striper bass and cat fish, does the drag power (8.8LB) in 2500SHG good enough?
I'm stuck, I can't decide between the 23 Vanquish 4000XG or the 24 TwinPower 4000XG. The Vanquish seems to be lighter and have more tech in it, about $100 more plus it has 21 Shimano technologies vs Twinpowers 16 Shimano technologies. Money aside, what one would you guys recommend? and how much stronger say is the TwinPower compared to the Vanquish, if there isn't much difference I will get the Vanquish?
It just arrived… wholly Molly!!! I am lost for words. I saw somewhere if you buy a steez u get 5 years worth of free service cleaning, have heard that and if so how does that work if u have a JDM model?
Im looking to purchase a new premium reel. Started looking at shimanos. What is currently the most robust reel with the least amount of weight? It will be used in saltwater environments for big fish so drag is also important.
Tbh it’s worth it more than a Stella just for infinity loop and anti twist alone changed my fishing not have to deal with line twist and reel wrapping, the line comes of the reel like butter. I changed my 24 certates to 24 twin powers after trying a mates one.
Being team anyone manufacturer is a waste. The Diawa Zillion, lews custom lite, Shimano Alderberan, Shimano curado 50e (yes, 14 year old reel), Okuma Haiku drt 100, and others all all phenomenal reels. Shimano makes some crappy reels just like all the others. Shimano makes amazing reels....just like everyone else. Stop being on a team. Let manufacturers know if they don't keep prices low and quality high you are not loyal.

Damn thanks been waiting for this.. This reel kinda reminds me of my 06 or 07 twinpower.
Lovin, this thanks!

I love Diditaka. I bought my first 16 twin power from them and still love that reel.
Shimano Twin Power XD reels are very good. The 5000 XG is my go to reel for surf spinning.
how has it been holding up in the salt ?
Very good, no problems.
Can u review the new vanford plz?

Look at Vanford and go buy Abu Garcia Zenon! Don’t buy the mid to lower end of Shimano reels(Vanford and Curado). You will regret it.
@@timleng4404haha yea right, if you want somthing that will last get a shimano or daiwa

Best reel for the money if you order from Japan it gives you Stella quality at half the price
Nice review. Brother do you fish or hunt anymore? Miss those videos
Just picked up a Metanium 100 and used your code. Thank you! Im east coast US. Does anyone know the typical wait time for the item to arrive?
Ordering from digi and being in Houston, 3-5 days.
@@ETuss713 That's not bad at all. Thanks!
It’s going to have a XD version like the previous TP ?
I got dibs on this! 😁🤫 Great video, Nick as always. Hook 'em Horns baby!!!
As always thanks for sharing your codes...just picked up the new 2024 Daiwa Stteez SV TW from Digitaka...due to arrive in a few days!!

Is shimano using the cheap plastic AR clutch of the Stella series on this model?

Vanquish
@@creedbratton4409 that is a light reel, not robust
Outside of warranty. Is there a difference with a jdm one? Same parts?
There’s more skus available in Japan of the 24 twin power more choice.
Is this the fe?
Over vanquish which one would you prefer
Don’t buy a vanquish they are a rip off for the money
What are people’s experience with Digitaka? How quick is shipping to California? Customer service?
Have ordered 2500 Ocea jigger LD, 2 stradic, jigs, jigging rods etc....been flawless service with digitaka
twinpower is no under the stella .. you forget vanquish then comes twinpower
Is digitaka stuff real I heard the internals are bad
Hi.can i get a discount code ?
Many thanks
Great review…
Glad you enjoyed it
Any discount code ?
Twin Power is under the Exsence in terms of hierarchy; not the Stella
"Very Expensive!"
What?
It does. 99% of stella.

You beleive this is higher in than the Vanquish? I have the Vanquish 3000 MHG and it feels exactly like my Stella.
This is right under the Stella in terms of strength and rigidity in my opinion.
Hi Rx, Are you able to provide me with a coupon for October?
Pretty nice.
Need fishing videos not sales pitch
I'm team Shimano all the way. That looks like something to use on a lake. Very disappointing, not going to waste my money.

Great videos man. Messaged ya in IG for that sweet, sweet September code.
Is very expensive. Only for rich people is made 😂😂😂😂
Hard to take a review seriously from someone who doesn’t know the difference between drag washers and spool height adjusting washers lol.
Hard to take your comment seriously when you are referring shims to washers 👍🏼
Hey, useful info. Would you have an October code? Thanks
