The phenomenal growth of Japan's economy ended with the disastrous financial reform and deregulation. Once Japan lost her financial independence, the economy could no longer defend against the corrupt financial system of the West (Central Banks). If China makes a similar financial mistake (reform), that will be the end of China's success story as well. That said, I believe most countries could do well provided if they could re-establish their financial independence and win against dollar hegemony.
