It’s why I think Dave Ramsey is helping so many people out there, I agree, most probably shouldn’t have credit cards. Very different from TH-cam vs on the street in terms of what the average person knows about credit cards.

Seven years ago I started as a new immigrant with zero credit score and income. My first credit card was Credit one. Three years later I got CSP. Now I am managing around 40 cc between me and my wife. We had many fun trips thanks to the game

If you pay everything in cash then a credit card is a perfect choice for you . Just treat you credit card as your debit card and just enjoy the rewards. Also I have the American Express blue Cash but I been thinking about getting the gold is just that I am not to sure about it because of the 250 annual fee ? What are your thoughts?
Do you think you can use those credits normally on the gold? If not, nah, just stick to the Blue Cash card honestly, it’s a powerful cash earner in my opinion.

The one guy was mistaken. You don't need a credit card to have a credit score, but it is the least expensive way if used properly to have one. Personal loans, mortgages, car loans, student loans, etc. Can all get you a credit score.
It’s crazy how much people dislike credit cards because of how uninformed and the bad reviews other people tell them. Then again, that goes for many topics as well…

I think individuals such as ourselves that are always trying to get the best value out of our credit cards. We are a very small minority. I am the only one I know personally that pursues it with any zeal.
