I have the misfortune of living in LA which means my home airport is one of the worst of any major city, plus the Centurion Lounge is possibly the worst one I have been in. Now it’s still fairly decent, but it’s in the Bradley Terminal which means if you’re not flying out of that terminal, good luck getting to it. 😂 🍔

Not really worth it for domestic trips unless you're traveling once a month or so to take advantage of the executive lounges and upgrades. Once a year is really tough to justify.

Quite a few Japanese and people in Asia have the Platinum card. The lounge will be swamped!
Also, Mexican Amex plat is more expensive than Asian. Annual fee is 1300USD+ tax. So $1500 total
