Made it! I always watch your entire vids as they have detailed info that's always helpful.
I have a Skillhunt headlamp; it blows away all the other comparable 18650 headlamps I've ever had. The UI is excellent, the fit n finish, impeccable n the price was unbeatable. Skillhunt is one of THE most underrated Flashlight companies. I think this new Skillhunt is fantastic. My Skillhunt headlamp is hard used (not abused), has never glitched or failed and not even a spot of the finish has worn. After 3+ years, it looks n works like brand new. My Skillhunt ho3, Klarus XT11GT n Lumintop Tool AA/14500 are the PERFECT quality combination for any situation where you would need a dependable Flashlight. Thanks Ben for the heads up on this great FL. Stay safe, Be Blessed.

They're definitely looking better than any I've had. Good to see they're still in the game.

Nice video. Cant really make out how long it runs on max? Is that 3 to 125 mins or is it 3 minutes max? Looking for something that beats the Fenix LD30 in the 1600 lumens and the max time preferable with a bezel. This looks interesting also looking at the price..

Hello, I bought an m300 v1 xhp35 hi a few months ago, and when it enters turbo 2, it flickers 3 times after 5 seconds and forcibly lowers the brightness, or it continues to flash and make a fuss. Is it normal?

The lights are going to get so complicated that they are going to require a Bluetooth connected app on a smart phone just to configure the settings. I guess that would be pretty cool though. Imagine all the possibilities of a “smart light “. I am running to the patent office as we speak! LOL, I’m going to be rich!!! 🤑

I believe there are already lights you can connect to your pc and customize Everything. Lumen Levels and blinking modes.

Try a flashlight with Anduril interface. It can be configured to do pretty much anything and if you learn one, you can use every Anduril light available.

Having an indicator light for finding it in the dark is a plus for me. My Olight and Thrunight do not offer this, at least on the models I have.

The Nitecore MH 20 and the Nitecore MH23 Both have a blue blinking beacon light so you can find it in the dark, anybody who has fumbled around in the pitch black tent, car or room for your flahlight will appreciate these lights, you can tail stand it on a cooler, bin, nightstand or dresser high, quality, ipx 8, rechargeable, strobe, beacon, sos and 4 or 5 modes, can be fit into your pocket , rechargeable, 1000 lumens on the nitecore MH 20 and 1800 lumens on the MH 23.Some would complain about the price, but you cant get a flashlight with this many features for cheap. Others will complain that they are " crap " because these flashlights dont come with a battery.

Can you recommend a 150+ lumen headlamp that takes 2 AAA batteries? I've used a Bushnell trkr 150 daily for nearly a decade that finally broke today. Thanks in advance.

great vid Ben, thanks ! i have a question, always trust your advice ...might you recommend your go to Flashlight choice that also doubles as a decent EDC powerbank ? i remember seeing you use a particular flashlight as a powerbank to change other devices etc, but can't seem to find in your vids. also, if you have a good/decent EDC stand-alone powerbank that you use / recommend ? we just had a blackout for past few days here in the northeast ...and even though i had most things covered, could really use a good powerbank, and/or a flashlight that can double as a powerbank in a pinch. thanks Ben !!

I’ve used Anker products for years. All different sides of battery banks. The ones built into a flashlight would be emergency use only as they use a single 18650 compared to two, four, six etc. the flashlights were from Rofis.

I am writing to you about a flashlight you reviewed ten months ago. It is the Klarus E1. I just saw the video for the first time yesterday. Like you I think its almost perfect except for having to remove battery in order to charge it. I have two questions. First of all I want know if there have been any other flashlights that would be a more perfect EDC flashlight than the E1, that have come out, since you made the video? Also, I would like to know if Klarus has a US distributor, and if so, who are they and how can I contact them? For example, Nitecore has a US distributor in Texas Called the Nitecore store or Lumen Tactical. Thank you for your time hope to hear from you soon.

    • @livingsurvival
      @livingsurvival  4 ปีที่แล้ว

Not sure on distributors, retails stores. My product comes directly from them. There are many good flashlights on the market right now but the E1 is right up there at the top for me.

@@livingsurvival thank you for to me. If your flashlight comes to you from them, then, if you need warranty repair, you have to send it out of the country? If so, have you ever had to send one of your lights back to them? If so, what was your shipping cost and the turnaround time?😀

Made it! This light is far too complicated for an old rocker such as myself. I'm sure that many people will appreciate the vast amount of settings and customizing, but I'll take a good old fashioned O-light any day.

operation is already complicated, it doesnt help when your subtitle font is ridiculously hard to read...

Interesting light. I am not sure I need anything that complex. I think it would definitely make it easy to get to higher modes which I tend to use more.

I was turned off by the opening of "it took me a couple of days to figure it out." Rule #1 -- You should need a PhD in rocket science to operate a flashlight.
