It's an endless loop. They scam one person successfully. Then they stall the victim until they get another to scam over. Once they do that they claim they are returning the money to the 1st person from the 2nd victims money. And bam just like that you unknowingly become a mule. It seriously makes me wonder how many innocent mules are out there and are clueless whats really going on.
Maybe not…maybe with these channels and how older people start growing older with technology, in 10-15 years people will be too savvy to fall for this. Who knows, maybe in 15 years they’ll have a completely different type of scam. Too bad this evil exists.

Well, it really does depend a lot on the individual, as 57 is DEFINITELY "elderly" in the case of MANY people...
I'm 100% with rita being innocent. She seems too honest and she's too willing to give information instead of trying to hide important information.

This lady was a victim. Glad you guys are helping her out. But the prior scam mule was legit real. Are you going to follow up and have her arrested? Or, is there something we are missing that you know that was left out of the prior video that would prevent you from doing that? I am quite curious.
Can’t help but think that some of these people are in on these scams ! Why would anyone accept a package containing $100.00 from someone you don’t know , if you’re not in on it ?! Makes no sense !!!!!
I live in Orlando and I'm pretty sure I can tell what part of town this lady lives in. And if I'm right, it's one of the lowest income areas in the city, and that PISSES ME OFF so much that some scumbag tried to take advantage of someone who is already struggling like that. You have to understand, the people that can afford it the least tend to fall victim, as they are trying more and more to escape the hell they are in. If these emails were honest, money would be on its way and they could escape. Scammers pray on the downtrodden. Most of the time, all they have is hope, because some crap scammer took the money.

@@PoppiB I do actually understand, thanks - I work on programs to help low-income people in the neighborhoods west of I-4 in Orlando every day, it's my job. My blood doesn't boil any less every time I see a scammer try to get them, though.

that's just heartbreaking, and i find it so funny how the scammers always have some sob story about how they have to do this kind of job because they themselves are poor and struggling, yet they don't have an issue scamming the lowest income citizens of other countries. horrible and disgusting.
I want to donate a large amount of money, but I want it to specifically go to all the confirmed victims. I want to repay for what they lost. I worked in a bank for many years for the past decade and it’s sad banks do not cover this sort of fraud in most cases. Let me know how I can help!

She's hiding in another country and beforehand, I was too worried for her and believed her lies, she told me that she can pay me my money after 4 months and in the meantime, I would get around 200 euros to be able to freaking eat. If it wasn't for me asking her, she wouldn't have given me any!!
Being someone who just loves people and I just want to believe in humanity.. To then be betrayed that badly.

I can understand her inital reaction. You have strangers that came to your home. They are offering to give you money with no strings after you already been scammed several times.
I am sure there are multiple interactions that where not included in the video that likely included the "Thank you."

Also scammers wouldn’t send money anywhere they weren’t sure about.These scammers have been doing this for years and they know who to have handle their money.They don’t take chances on ( maybe this person will do it for me) they know who they can trust to work with.
There's a lot of unknowing mules, i almost became one when i was a teen. I replied to an "administrative assistant" job position and they asked for all my details (which at 19 i didn't realize what was going on so i gave it to them) and they said I'd work from home and i'd just have to receive packages or do odds and ends here and there. That lasted like a day after i realized what they meant with the first package and just tossed it out.
I am from Orlando and that area of town is nicknamed "Crime Hills." I hope you don't judge our city by that area.

That's actually quite clever. First telling someone they need to pay an amount to receive money. Then having someone else send the same amount to that person effectively
turning them into money mule without them knowing by telling them that their money was sent back to them and that they need to forward it. They become a double victim.
It's the worse scam ever 🤪 There is nothing clever about it at all. It is a scam targeting the unsophisticated and poorly educated. That's why they only ask for $95. Could you imagine the financially smart falling for this dog-crap of a scam?
