Use find friends. Youre dealing with criminals. Being able to track one another during confrontations is crucial!
I have thought about this a million times lol. No tracking devices at all, they need to setup better camera setup too maybe the done the night before to scope the best angles etc. But still enjoy watching!

They aren’t law enforcement. What they did was put many people in danger just for content at this point. Imagine if the scammer crashed and killed someone all over a scam that will he replaced by dozens more.

He did put them and danger and made the excuse once he got out played by the scammer... he decided to put them in danger once he decided to speed out the parking lot. He even said it himself that they didnt follow the traffic laws... scammers are trash but they arent worth putting people at risk for their lives over content. Police dont do nothing because they need to build a case on their own not with people showing them proof.
Use better paper for your fake cash so the mules think it's real and try to run it through a bank, then it becomes a federal offence and they're screwed either way even if you lose them like this.
Producing counterfeit money is illegal, even with the purpose of trying to fool a criminal. with that’s so it doesn’t get circulated to innocent people. The chances that he would take the whole bundle right away to a single bank to deposit is low. The fake fun money has to look like fake fun money.

As a senior I know I'm considered a "prime candidate" for scamming. I enjoy your videos so much. I count on your for reliable information and trusted sponsors. I know everything about your decisions was based purely on adrenaline when that guy took off but PLEASE be very careful with these situations. Im glad you guys scared that mule like crazy but nothing is worth getting hurt or in trouble with law enforcement. I truly appreciate that in your interviews you realized your actions weren't great and maybe should've been handled a bit different. Another great Trilogy video. The scammers and the mules are adapting, so the scambaiters must adapt as well and you are doing so. Getting his license plate number was good so hopefully, he'll be tracked down.

AirTags are not good. They will also alert the mule if he has an iPhone. Another scambaiter tried that, and the mule got alerted to the tracker, opened the package and dumped it in a remote area, and fled. But i do agree, they need some sort of tracker.....one that does not alert anyone else but the phone number or email address of the person who initiated it.

They need to work with stunt professionals and self-defense experts, not only on driving, but on ways to avoid getting injured during physical confrontations on foot where one of the scammers might physically assault them, or even have a weapon. Although I wonder if stunt performers and other professionals in those lines of work have liability insurance that makes them unable to work with people who are deliberately getting themselves into real life danger as opposed to movie and TV danger

I just remembered the stunt driving thing that the guys from Corridor Digital did in Punch 4 Punch and I wonder how hard it is to take people in just to get the training in general. What may just happen is that they request to get trained in it, but no questions asked. Anyone got some insight on this?
@@DarukaEon -- My guess is that trained stunt professionals would be hesitant to work with these guys because they're already acting pretty reckless, and they might become even more overconfident if they've learned a thing or two. A little knowledge can be a dangerous thing. Same thing with defensive driving training. If the instructor knew they were just going to utilize it to plan for more real-world car chases, they would probably be wise to turn them down. When this sort of thing happens on a movie set, there are all sorts of safety measures, built into the protocol, and lots of redundancy. Plus you're not gonna have a bunch of regular people milling around where they could get hurt if something goes wrong. It's a totally different situation on a regular street

Great video , but please don't put too much yourselves in danger, maybe Connor's idea of a tracker is a good idea . In this case (don't know for airtags) a Smart tag will show last position even if the battery is removed. And it doesn't tell its presence.
49:30 is the first time I saw one of you guys make a good decision in this video - to stop the car chase and stop putting other people at risk. Please don't do stuff like this again. Please go back to just doing the computer aspect of busting these scammers, maybe the occasional sting set up with cameras to document people doing the bait money drops from a distance. But the risky in-person confrontations and especially things like car chases are going to get somebody injured or killed one day. Thank you Sean, for being the one with some sense.

@Art and @Ashton that plate is non-existent. Means it could be a rental with a revolving tag, a temp dealer tag, or just plain made up. I did a vehicle sighting search and sent you an email with the VIN# and last recorded sightings on CCTV
Scammers already know about that trick already and ask mules to check every unusual spot for a tracker, not to mention it’s Apple that can still contacts to any devices. This is why TH-camrs needs to STOP sharing too much information or scammers will figure out a way to counter it

Ashton and Art, I believe you should purchase a GPS chip tracker that you can glue or tape inside the fake cash envelope. You can purchase those tracking GPS if you ask Ben from Pleasant Green. He used it from his TH-cam video. So next time, you will get any scammers who drives away. Great work, it's a learning process

I truly appreciate that in your interviews you realized your actions weren't great and maybe should've been handled a bit different. AirTags are not good. They will also alert the mule if he has an iPhone. Another scambaiter tried that, and the mule got alerted to the tracker, opened the package and dumped it in a remote area, and fled. But i do agree, they need some sort of tracker.....one that does not alert anyone else but the phone number or email address of the person who initiated it.

They need to work with stunt professionals and self-defense experts, not only on driving, but on ways to avoid getting injured during physical confrontations on foot where one of the scammers might physically assault them, or even have a weapon.
Although I wonder if stunt performers and other professionals in those lines of work have liability insurance that makes them unable to work with people who are deliberately getting themselves into real life danger as opposed to movie and TV danger

As for your second point, that is indeed a thought. I just remembered the stunt driving thing that the guys from Corridor Digital did in Punch 4 Punch and I wonder how hard it is to take people in just to get the training in general. What may just happen is that they request to get trained in it, but no questions asked.

@@DarukaEon -- My guess is that trained stunt professionals would be hesitant to work with these guys because they're already acting pretty reckless, and they might become even more overconfident if they've learned a thing or two. A little knowledge can be a dangerous thing.
Same thing with defensive driving training. If the instructor knew they were just going to utilize it to plan for more real-world car chases, they would probably be wise to turn them down.
When this sort of thing happens on a movie set, there are all sorts of safety measures, built into the protocol, and lots of redundancy. Plus you're not gonna have a bunch of regular people milling around where they could get hurt if something goes wrong. It's a totally different situation on a regular street

In this case (don't know for airtags) a Smart tag will show last position even if the battery is removed. And it doesn't tell its presence.

49:30 is the first time I saw one of you guys make a good decision in this video - to stop the car chase and stop putting other people at risk. Please don't do stuff like this again. Please go back to just doing the computer aspect of busting these scammers, maybe the occasional sting set up with cameras to document people doing the bait money drops from a distance.
But the risky in-person confrontations and especially things like car chases are going to get somebody injured or killed one day.

@Art and @Ashton that plate is non-existent. Means it could be a rental with a revolving tag, a temp dealer tag, or just plain made up. I did a vehicle sighting search and sent you an email with the VIN# and last recorded sightings on CCTV

Scammers already know about that trick already and ask mules to check every unusual spot for a tracker, not to mention it’s Apple that can still contacts to any devices. This is why TH-camrs needs to STOP sharing too much information or scammers will figure out a way to counter it

I believe you should purchase a GPS chip tracker that you can glue or tape inside the fake cash envelope. You can purchase those tracking GPS if you ask Ben from Pleasant Green. He used it from his TH-cam video. So next time, you will get any scammers who drives away. Great work, it's a learning process
