One of the few perfect albums in Rock history - every track is a masterpiece. The music, the composition, the lyrics it was truly magical. Not sure if Stephen sold his soul to the devil or what but every damn song is super relatable, catchy, thoughtful and wrought with pure emotion. Bravo 3EB!

They're not really that poppy and not really happy semi charmed life is supposed to sound like how crystal meth makes u feel which according to Jenkins is "bright and shiny"
@@thischarminglovehound2376 I didn’t take it as a slam, I’m js they’re not a happy/poppy band at all. Those songs are outliers is my point and not an accurate reflection of their general sound or their music.
i personally find a place i can hide and listen to just this cd so i can savor the memories it brings back and the emotional rollercoaster is not something i feel that most people can understand. it makes me feel better in a strange way to feel the loss ive had over the years. it helps me to remember where ive been and the lives that i have lived but more important it assures me of my placement in the now as well.
My VERY first concert without parents/adult supervision. Flash back to February 11, 1998 at the UMR multipurpose building in Rolla, MO. I remember my dad made me dress well covered. I altered my outfit as soon as I was in the building and out of his sight. It was cold and wet winter weather and I wore a checkered black and white skirt and black cardigan and matching Maryjane shoes. I was 15 years old and in love with this band! I crowd surfed for the first time. Stephen on stage saw my joy and reached out and touched my hand briefly. Somehow while crowd surfing and enjoying my first mosh pit I lost one of my shoes. I went home with the biggest smile and only one shoe. Core memories formed that night! I felt invincible and alive! Fast forward to age 41 and I just purchased tickets to see TEB in concert in 2024 here in Tampa FL and I’m bringing my son along this time. Nostalgic! This experience needs shared ❤

Vintage 3eb. Most influential album I’ve ever owned. “In the car, in the kitchen you were good to go...”
