Seriously, that kind of stuff is what gives people mental health issues playing classical music. Even if someone is doing really poorly, you should still be kind to them.
yes that is bad advice that he was given.. Follow the conductor no matter what. Sorry that is horrible advice. Conducting is abstract, the concert master actually is the musician leader of the group responsible for the sound, work, and tuning, etc. With good conductors the concertmaster and primaries can adapt and keep things on keel because while different conductors do things differently, good ones all still get the job done in the end. A bad conductor can drag down the orchestra and that is where the concert master steps in. You don't base your orchestra on abstract or personal perks of the conductor, its the conductor's job to rise to the occasion. If they don't, if your general isn't doing his job, then the 2nd in command concertmaster who is the MUSICAL stable leadership of the group, especially when the orchestra uses multiple conductors during its season.

It’s all about your own thoughts. Make an effort to think of reasons why it’s good to fail. I love y’all so much and you have helped me through so many dark times with your humor. Please keep doing what you’re doing, it has helped a countless number of musicians
I also remember that lack of feelings period from like 13 to 17 years old. I think it happened because I didn't have a good environment in school (I got bullied a lot) and at home either, so I just went full robot kind of mentality of getting good grades and being able to reach uni. It all ended during the first day of selectividad (it's like the spanish Gaokao), I got the feeling that I could have answered some of the questions much better and I felt like all the years of hard work were for nothing. I cried the shit out of me and smashed a mirror I had in my room by punching it.
I've been noticing it for a while, but when Eddy laughs (or does a no-vib "eeeeehhhhhh" sound) Brett will *tune up* to meet him. Like a violin chasing that A. I'm pretty sure Eddy does the same, if it's Brett that starts. o.O These two........
My first time crying while listening to music, I was actually like 3 years old, and my parents took me to a children’s version of magic flute, and like halfway through the overture I just started crying… my mum turned to me like really shocked and asked what the matter was and I actually remember telling her “I don’t know why I’m crying, it’s just so beautiful” 🥹 I was 3 man 😅 but that was also the moment I started begging my parents for violin lessons, they allowed me to start about 3 years later. I’m turning 16 tomorrow, I’ve been playing for nine years now and it’s become like my entire personality 🥰 also really special thing: I played with a really good youth orchestra this year, and our final of 5 concerts was at the big concert hall where I saw that children’s opera about 12 years ago, and as I walked on stage, I saw my parents, grandparents and violin teacher sitting in the exact spot we sat 12 years ago, and I almost started crying because I just felt so grateful that all of this was made possible by my parents who always paid for all my lessons and orchestra projects like that 🥹🥹🥹
Yoooo i did not cry more than like, once or twice a year (maybe) from around 12-17 I think. I felt like an emotionless robot, and I'm a girl, we're expected to bawl our eyes out all the time. Now I can finally appreciate music and other heartfelt things and tear up a bit. Hormones are crazy.
No, Eddy, it's not just you. I'm 17 going on 18, a girl (which I only mention because stereotypically we "cry more", which isn't true, boys cry too), and in the past 5 years, I've only cried once and it was out of actual physical pain. I didn't even cry when I fought with my mom over my coming out. And it feels SO immensely *frustrating* when you're so isolated from your emotions and the only thing you can feel is stress/anxiety. People think not crying is a strength... No, my friends. Not being able to cry is a weakness. I can happily say, though, that your videos always bring me back to life for their entire duration, and I hope I can meet you some day *for the first time!!!* 😊😄 Lots of love from Venezuela 💛💙❤️
It was nice hearing about their first time teaching violin students. As someone who just started teaching piano students, I totally get the fear that if they don't improve their parents will think I'm not doing a good enough job. If Twoset can do it, I can too. :)
Ah yes, when the music suddenly gets you and you start crying but aren't sure why. Sometimes it's because it's so beautiful but sometimes I think it just connects with an emotion you've buried and tried to avoid feeling and the music reaches in and pulls it out. (Ok that was a very poorly worded way of stating it but I'm sleep deprived.)
14:08 I had that until I watched my first kdrama, from that moment on I became more open with my feelings and cried more easily when I was moved by something someone
Listening to your guys's accounts of professional orchestra experiences made me decide not to pursue music as a career, but maybe just keep it to a side gig after I maybe play Tchaikofski's violin concerto.
Eddy and all the complaining about being in ballet orchestras! I was on the stage dancing! We appreciate you all so much! It makes a world of difference for the dancers and the audience! I wish they had it so you could have watched the performances, at least afterward. You may never know what amazing people and stars you've played in the orchestra for, when they were above you dancing, singing, acting, whatever! Much appreciation for you guys
I don't play the violin...or any instrument really... But I have been binge-watching this channel for 3 days and absolutely love it!! Its ALMOST enough to make me want to pick up a violin, but my neighbours don't deserve that lol.

14:37 NO WAY! FFX made me cry too lol!! Can't believe Eddy is a FFX fan too, that's hype
I love these story time type videos. This format fits these guys really well, probably because they have so many fun stories
The RuneScape mask that Brett had scammed from him(14:57)is one of the most valuable items in the game now. F
Mega rares are worth thousands of dollar now!

This isn't my first time feeling curious about questions Brett hasn't answered
Yoooo i did not cry more than like, once or twice a year (maybe) from around 12-17 I think. I felt like an emotionless robot, and I'm a girl, we're expected to bawl our eyes out all the time. Now I can finally appreciate music and other heartfelt things and tear up a bit. Hormones are crazy.
"When was the first time you kissed someone?" UM DON'T SAY THAT WITH THAT KNOWING SMILE OR WE SHALL ASSUME THINGS MY LADS

16:05 ok I’m aware the video title was click bait but I want this question answered🥲
And this is the First Time I got tired of the word first time
But its brett and eddy so im not tired
i feel like forgetting your neighbour’s name after years is normal, and so is remembering a scammer’s name that scammed you a few years back
There’s a first time for everything

why is Eddy doing this with his sleeves every time when he wears this hoodie
i mean
its CUTE
😳
it reminds me of ariana grande lmao
@@roshnaawincita_music xD
wdym he's always cute tho? 😳
@@hugnboba yea i know.
"its cute" doesnt excude that he is always cute.
if you know what i mean
Ah yes, when the music suddenly gets you and you start crying but aren't sure why. Sometimes it's because it's so beautiful but sometimes I think it just connects with an emotion you've buried and tried to avoid feeling and the music reaches in and pulls it out. (Ok that was a very poorly worded way of stating it but I'm sleep deprived.)
14:08 I had that until I watched my first kdrama, from that moment on I became more open with my feelings and cried more easily when I was moved by something someone
Does anyone else do this? When they are playing a piece and forget the next note so you play that one before it longer to remember it
Yup
th-cam.com/video/5x-YpUEcjNk/w-d-xo.html.....
Listening to your guys's accounts of professional orchestra experiences made me decide not to pursue music as a career, but maybe just keep it to a side gig after I maybe play Tchaikofski's violin concerto.
So will Brett answer Eddy’s last question?
He did answer it at the last second.

It's Eddy, not the hoodie 😂

@@MY-ud6xr I have that particular hoodie and it is SO DAMNED COMFY! It's their best one, in my opinion.

You guys don't need to worry about shakes bow, we are behind you no matter what.
The first time I cried to classical music was the Sibelius drop!! First time I heard the piece, I will never forget!
I don't play the violin...or any instrument really... But I have been binge-watching this channel for 3 days and absolutely love it!! Its ALMOST enough to make me want to pick up a violin, but my neighbours don't deserve that lol.
I NEED the backstory for Brett's face @ 8:06 😂 why?? "the students'mum like me" omg whyy the face Bretty haha
I don't now what am I more shook about: Eddy crying to FFX (in exactly where everyone imagined he would) or Brett losing an ultra rare item in runescape that's 1-2 billion gp right now
The crying to ffx part is not shocking at all 😭
It’s the precise moment for me I’m like yep of course it’s zanarkand where tf else
