Have you compared the 9PX noise to the 5PX noise under similar conditions (mains on, full battery) and is the 9PX actually louder? I noticed the 5PX fans keep running even at 100% battery, so it loses one big advantage over the 9PX for deskside use.
We didn’t do that overtly but in our lab the batteries are relatively silent. In a quiet room you’d notice them more. But in our usage we don’t really notice any difference.
Are thee any additional safety actions needed for fire event management? given that Lithium can be a difficult material to deal with in a fire situation.
@@StorageReview any chance of doing some hardcore ups testing? Looking at how the sine waves look under various loads on battery and wall, noise output, recharge times, battery replacement difficulty, and anything else you can think of.
@@StorageReview No I have no hyper sensitive hearing I have tinnitus and that's not so cool as you might think and laugh about. I need an online UPS inside a living space for protecting (we experience more and more brown and black-outs over here) and filtering (clean up the dirt in the AC otherwise the xformers in the my gear start humming) expensive American audio equipment. I choose Eaton because at my work in a very large lawyer firm, I'm the only one with ICT system management experience so I advise for the Servers (all HP Proliants) and desktop PC's (a mix). We have using Eaton for over 15 years now but I see your mocking me so I will look further at UPC. Thanks for your kind remarks in this matter.
This is good timing as a storm took my power out yesterday. Might just have to get a ups for my pc.
At home keeping the router and WiFi on a UPS is also handy.
Can you make a video email-sender in this network card

Better question for Eaton. We don't take any new precautions. Then again, we don't ready safety labels either.
please do more power focused products please
Anything specific you're after?

Q: What did you buy? A: a FPS. Q: What is that? A: Fancy Power Stripes.
New lingo, we like it.
Audio is off. Guy on left is loud, guy on right is quiet.
We'll work on it.
what the password to Eaton 9PX 1000, thanks?
The card forces a password change before login. No default.
How to turn off ups
Press and hold power button.
@@StorageReview ok brother, I read to manual then solve the issue
do these smell like burn plastic like apc and cyper power? cause that smell make me sick i hate lead acid battery
Not aware of any smell. We have three of them in the lab and small offices.
@@StorageReview ty will this work great with my gaming pc?
@@Fusions-xl3sh way overkill. No need to pay the premium for lithium ion unless you really want too.
@@StorageReview yea i want these type of battery not the lead acid
@@Fusions-xl3sh they’re awesome. Just expensive.
I just replaced ups recently. Damn heavy. Remove the batteries first.
They say these Lithium-ion units are 20% lighter. Hard to tell when racking them, lol.
Unit makes too much noise IMO. Can find much cheaper online UPS's with lower dB ratings.
Can you even hear it in our video? It's very quiet.
@@StorageReview Yes I do very clearly. If you put it in a serverroom it is no issue of course. What is the 1 metre dB rating?
Ok, you have hyper sensitive hearing, that's cool. Let us know what you end up finding that's better.
