In this weeks episode I found a perfect alternative for a roof rack storage box! Product review (as a storage box) and install-ish...It's well priced and perfectly sized for what I had in mind. It's the Plano All-Weather Gun Case! But not used for its intention, but for camping and overlanding storage. I can only hold so much inside the Doozie, so this really helped clear things up.

After almost 2 years, I came up with the same idea. LOL. Got 2 same cases collecting dust, Am planning on putting them to my 4runner's roof.

Got mine (2) solidly mounted on my Yakima HD Towers. People are worried that they will get broken into because they look like rifle cases. I guess I will find out. Keeping rescue/recovery and EMS stuff in them.

Is that Cleghorn I spy?! :) Hows the box holding up? I have two of these case, but not on the jeep, they hold the pew pews. Ive had them for several years now and zero issue for the use.
Use pad locks if you don’t want shit stolen. Can open the locked levers with a screwdriver

How is the Plano case after 2 years? Are they still on your roof?
Its still there today 👍 Absolutely amazed by this box! No fading, no warping, no issues that I didn't cause. I plan to do a follow up video on it

That case is worthless way to small.
Ok, then don’t use it. I chose it because I didn’t want a massive box up there.
