I cant believe they didnt put carpets in to begin with as the hole model opens up inside massive error in my opinion i just have question about the mats can they be easily removed and stick down again cause i cant decide the colour to go for if you want the true likeness its the cream ones but the black looks awesome what a dilemma 😂😂

Those Mike Lane mods really look great! The heel and toe pad is accurate to k.i.t.t. and to the 1982 to 1984 Pontiac Firebird and Yrans Am. Interesting fact: all of the companies that sell reproduction carpets for the real cars have the wrong heel and toe pad,they have the redesigned 1985 and up pad and sell the 1982 to 1984 carpets with the 1985 and up pad. If only Mike Lane worked at the reproduction carpet companies! Great job Wayne!
I was planning on ordering these as I get further along with the build....glad I saw this video first, it saved the price of the Heel/Toe Pads as the floor mats make them kind of useless. They look great, don't get me wrong...but they'll be almost completely covered.
lol that's what I though I've seen the adds for this but never knew how big the thing is it's a pretty big model but myself Id rather put money into building the real thing or my own version of KITT
I received the carpets, the badges and the mats. I kept the mats the same colour as the carpet as I was u certain what would be best. I did think about the heel and toe set but passed as I knew I wanted the mats in place and thought they would cover it. According to Mike the trunk is in #66, so I'll be ordering them at the time. IMHO the carpets are far better then the delorean one peice he did.

As impressive as this carpet set is, I believe it can be improved quite a bit. Just my opinion. There are too many visible lines/seams that take away from the realism, which makes it look like a kit. It should have a more seamless appearance.
Buongiorno wayne mi puoi dire un olio che uso per le viti per favore......io ho preso uno svitol abbastanza buono ma vorrei sapere che olio usi te per avvitare le viti nel metallo grazie.......comunque i tuoi video,parlando da modellista,sono sempre i migliori.......anche se scrivo poco perché non conosco l inglese ti seguo dalla delorean che ho costruito insieme a te sei il numero 1......WAYNE THE BEST

I was in two minds whether to do the carpets… but those black KI mats look so sexy I’m going to have to do the carpets so I can have the mats!
In the Transformers collecting community that black tool is colloquially referred to as a spudger. I'm not sure why though

Io uso un normale olio 3 in 1. In realtà l'ho rubato dalla macchina da cucire della signora World of Wayne lol. Grazie per il supporto
