I have to agree with some of critique. Mike Lane does great a job, and I have just about bought out his entire store for the DeLorean mods, waiting to buy more when they become available. But I think he barely missed the target on this one. I see no reason to mod the brake discs - you can't see them. But I do agree that the Hub Cap needed modification for the lug nuts, which I thought was the mod. I was either expecting a hub cap with lug nuts or tiny lugs that went into the holes. Maybe tiny screw posts the nuts would screw on with a lug wrench. Overall though I think the end result of what you showed was great. The silver coverings are far better than Philips Head screws! Because I love Mike Lanes work, I would still buy this mod!
Great mod, personally I won't be opting for is as it's mainly obscured, I will just point out one flaw, it appears the discs are both in the same orientation but they should be mirror opposite so the groves lean towards the back of the car, hope that can get back to Mike so that he can tweak the design
That was amazing! Really starting to come along! It would be cool if it had also come out in my local (Independent ) bus company's livery for East Yorkshire Motor Services, (EYMS)
Need to get the hub cap lug nuts Chloe made from Model Modz whenever they’re available, would look a lot better than just those silver things in the holes.
Great Mods! I've got the Scaledmodz Kitt wheel nuts that I'm looking to combine for additional detail instead of the silver backing tape. You've probably seen these. Any thoughts if it's a good idea?

cracking video Wayne, but that mod to me wouldn't have been worth adding to the car, for what you see of the disc, the creator would have been better off doing a fake bolt mod to the front wheel.
I really don’t see the point I’d having the disc brake mod. You can’t see it. Even with the easy remove hub. Once built, you’ll never take the model off of the shelf! Just my opinion!😎
Agree on this one, You cannot really see it, It would have been better if they had done some fake bolt mod to replace the screws. Whip the black cap off, pop the small fake bolt mod in the back or on the wheel its self. and then pop the black cap back on.
Me too, I commented above too. Got the scaledmodz wheelnuts which are designed to be glued. Want to combine with mikes magnets to allow everything to be removable.
Hi There World of Wayne my name is Jordan Symmons and I'm now starting to build the Titanic Model from Hattchet part Works magazine. And I didn't know if you were going to build it at all...
And I'm also colour blind too and I have Autism and it's your videos that have got me into model building for the first time. And I'm looking forward to seeing your Spitfire model too..
Couple of observations - 1. The small disk inserts to the unused hub recesses should be thicker to resist damage on insertion - even using the fluffy (woman's nail treatment stick) they get damaged. Would also like to see them satin silver and not reflective. 2. Shame there are no replacement caps for the hub cap holes - small black or enen silver/chrome inserts would have been good. It looks unfinished. 3. Does Mike Lane use Beta Testers?
So are these parts just limited runs, or will they stick around awhile? Because I'm still waiting for Fanhome to release the kit in the US, and wasn't sure if I should order now to be safe...
I'm not sure why, but my magnets seem to tug the wheel onto the axl or something, but it doesn't hold the hub cap in place. It just drops off with the lightest of touches. What have I managed to balls up? I followed the video exactly to be sure.
How is it that the hub cap mod leaves you with holes with chrome underneath? How is this realistic? No bolts? Why aren't there black bolts like on the original? Just curious.
I feel somewhat let down on the enterprise d and eaglemoss customer service that's why I'm doing the hatchette version of Titanic instead of the eaglemoss version. I would have liked to have done the agora version but someone told me it wouldn't be available for the UK besides the hatchette version looks like the same as the agora version
I wish it was happy Wednesday still no partworks have been delivered. One from fanhome dispatched this week probably won't get next until week. Still problems with eaglemoss apparently part 12 of enterprise has just been restocked on the 7th apparently. Ixo collections on their site box 7 Porsche is now available they never charged me so I paid it directly the shipping was 28 euros can't understand why the shipping cost is that high despite having a subscription on Porsche 917khz
Seems like a scam, the model company charges a ton money then purposely skimp on parts so this lane guy makes money fixing what the company should have done in the first place
Its how the parts were designed and then signed off by the licence holder. The model building community are the ones that request these mods and peeps like Mike Lane make their wants reality

Agreed
Very nice mike lane comes to the rescue again.
That really does make a huge difference! Another great mod from Mike.
That was amazing! Really starting to come along! It would be cool if it had also come out in my local (Independent ) bus company's livery for East Yorkshire Motor Services, (EYMS)
Very nice mods. Mike Lane does outstanding mods. Simply brilliant!
Looks great, but the Brake Discs do seem a little pointless given that you can't even see them once its been reassembled.
Both mods look great

K2000 and all 82 trans Ams had wheel nuts BEHIND the black moon disc cover . Oops
Where do I get that mod?

Hoping To see the bolt mod on this fine channel. Quality mods but nuts required to really finish it off
The mods look good but I would prefer proper looking wheel nuts

Perfect just perfect.
You're right Wayne, when the hubcaps are on we still don't see the great brake discs 😂
because i cannot really see very well i’m disabled this is why i was asking whether someone can build it for me thanks & bless u lots

Mike lane mods so gut super Video
I’ve just noticed that 5 days since last accident board in the background lol.
It’s been there since Friday lol

The original had silver bolts with black hubs. That’s what it looks like at least from the stills in the magazine
Any updates on the Ent D build?
Nope. Still waiting for a delivery
You can't beat a mod! Unless you're watching The Book of Boba Fett 👍

Mod for mods sake imo......given what it costs to buy the kit in the first place I'm sometimes very surprised at lack of detail or indeed quality.
