Man I learn so much from all your videos, really appreciate all you guys do in the vinyl world. all my vinyl 3 years ago was purchased through you guys too, very good stuff even them years ago, good prices and excellent service when needed cut settings where spot on I can't say enough . When I finally run out I'll be back to your business
If you choose the object tab on the top bar you can select rotate. and choose 45 degrees to get that perfect rotation. something new i found this past week.
Hello Lisa! I have a Vynil-Roll and now I want to cut out single strips in the length of the roll (1.22 meter). As I have never used Silhouette Studio before, I don't know how to adjust the working space to cut out the following dimensions with a roll feeder: A) 1.22 m x 0.04 m B) 1.22 m x 0.12 m C) 1.22 m x 0.12 m I can't adapt the working area to this mass. Could you help me with that? Greetings Toby
Okay! I get it! So I’m making a decal that’s 34” long and 6” wide. I just don’t know how to make my letters big enough to fit those measurements🥴 I’m sorry I just don’t know how
so helpful. but one question. even though you are setting it up as "no cutting board" can you still cut on the cutting board to hold you vinyl in place?
Great video! Thank you. I'm struggling with getting my design to size properly. I'm actually trying to cut out a world map almost the exact size you've done but it keeps making the 7" that I would like to keep, grow as I try to achieve the length of 28". I'm trying to hold shift, drag the corner, I've watched your video on resizing with lock on and off and I cannot get it. Any advice would be appreciated! Many thanks.

Can I do this on a brother design and cut?? I've looked everywhere to find out, even contacted brother and they havent bothered to get back to me.... wish I just got thos cutter now
Yes, you can cut a long piece of vinyl without a mat. You just need to feed it through completely before cutting to make sure it's really straight and will cut correctly. - TRW Shannon
I have added my own registration marks using stars or squares and it worked out very well. Just be mindful to come down with those and the design an inch or so. This way the rollers have enough to grab while it cuts and to prevent slipping. Same goes for the bottom of the design, give your rollers a little leeway. -TRW Crystal

The most you can probably do is adjust the font size until it matches up relatively with those measurements. :)

Thank you so much !

Lisa does not mention the font, and it is not one of ours that sell on our website. Our apologies.

Unfortunately we do not work with Brother Design and Cut so we would not know if this project is something you can do with their machine.
I saw one video where you don't have to use a mat for a long decal...Is that true? in which way do you tape a foot piece to a 2' piece
Yes, you can cut a long piece of vinyl without a mat. You just need to feed it through completely before cutting to make sure it's really straight and will cut correctly. - TRW Shannon
Thanks..How about if the Width is 12.5inch?
I believe Cameos can only cut 12 inches wide. You would have to flip the image sideways to make it cut that long.

how about with registration mark
