@8power. True duels sound the deepest and works real well. Your stock or aftermarket headers already have scavaging effect on the exhaust. So really no need for X or H pipes.
You should let people know that these are mustangs without active exhaust. These resonator deletes on active exhaust mustangs sound way better than non-active exhaust equivalent.
@@zed8083 resonator deletes sound great on the active exhaust mustangs. Theyre not all spitty and overly raspy like they have cheap mufflers. Non active exhaust mustangs sound terrible with a resonator delete. They NEED their muffler upgraded to sound good. It's important to know the difference when watching these videos otherwise people get the wrong idea on what it'll sound like. Mine has active exhaust and a steeda x pipe and it sounds excellent.
I hope so. I've got a 2020 Mustang GT with active exhaust. Every time I start, the default goes back to normal exhaust. I'm hoping that the Steeda Xpipe I'm about to have installed, will give me better sound in the normal mode. This way, I can keep the digital speedometer up on the dash without always switching to the exhaust modes.
@@AStanton1966 I still switch to track mode every time. I use quiet start in the morning on cold start otherwise I'm always in track exhaust mode. I doubt normal is ever gonna sound as good as track no matter what you do.
My muffler shop in San Antonio Texas installed a whole catback for me for $75 but Im a repeat customer, been there 5 times thru out the years w/ different mustangs and catbacks!
What would go best on the Mach 1 behind you? As I’ve got one coming to Australia and want it to stand out in the crowd. So, what header, pipe setup would best complement it?👍
Would it be more ideal for me to use an H pipe if my car is already super raspy with my longtube headers and x pipe? I want less rasp and I wonder if going with H pipe my exhaust will sound deeper and better
H pipe sounds way better on v8s compared to a x pipe
Totally agree with you 💯 🤟
1:23 Stock
1:37 H Pipe
2:42 X Pipe
In the old days we didn’t use H or X pipe. Just individual separate from each side. Dual exhaust.
My 390 FE motor had basically two single exhausts and sounded amazing

What if both pipes run straight to the back and don't have a join in the middle?

Yes sir there is a big difference
I have active exhaust on mine, could you explain please the "much different" sound? Thanks in advance.

I'm under the impression that you use an H pipe for small blocks an X pipes for big blocks.... I've got an H on my S550 and am happy with it.
No , you use and size either X, H or single or seperate dual to target where you want peak TQ or HP and to get the sound you like best.
True duals sound best👌
H pipe 💯
Borla Switchfire sounds better IMO than those tinny sounding mid pipes.
Ive been wanting to hear a Good Sound Clip of the Borla Switchfire but Nobody has uploaded one on You Tube yet :( !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's what I've been thinking about getting. I currently have a 2020 gt with roush ab and a magnaflow tru resonated x pipe
@@Texas_C8 I have the borla switchfire on my 5.0
@@5point0h67 Awesome !!!!!!!
@@Texas_C8 I love it!
I got quoted 566 from you guys last week. Is it actually 466 ??

H pipe for v8 x pipe for v6

Seperate dual for the more muscle car tone and deep note.
H pipe is more muscular sounding and the x pipe gives that higher pitch. Which one better gives better flow? HP or torque ?
X pipe
What is the difference between the $265 Roush X-Pipe and the $130 SVE X-Pipe?
Nothing really. Price. And gauge of the pipe.
Charging $450+ for 45 mins of work and a $70 bolt on part?? Rape
Lmao
I wish my car had pops in the exhaust with my H-Pipe like his does.
What car do you have
@@typicalgamer5560 2020 Mustang GT
Xpipe sounds cheap and garbage h pipe sound amazing
So if i have active exhaust on my 19 GT could i still go with the H-pipe?
@@BlessedGT yes you can
Why add an H or X when already the mystangs has active exhuast
Feature for active exhaust is a baffle built into the muffler not the resonator.

H pipe will definitely give it a deeper gurgle
The h pipe shoild come stock
H pipe !!!
Different cars! Should have used the same car..
H pipe better
X pipe sounds cheap lol fuck it H pipe it is even tho x pipe gives more top end
