Children are delicate; they need love, hugs, explanations, guidance... Many broken children in adult bodies by no fault of their own, but hard to turn that around by the time they have already hurt themselves after being traumatized. This guy is 100% right. When you talk about it, your already wasting energy. I've met people who never finished their goals because all they did was talk about it, and eventually lost interest. In the simplest form everytime you talk about your goals, you are giving yourself a little dopamine hit. Imagine the feeling of when you truly 100% accomplished your goals? But then again imagining it will not help you much either. And this is where I say I love Nike's saying, Just Do It. Because that is how you accomplish goals.
Mark I watch you because you are true, compassionate, interesting and give a voice to people who society wants to judge and blame. Life doesn’t play out the same for all of us and I understand that. Thank you 🙏
I've watched everything on SWU and Mark is the most respectable and compassionate man on TH-cam, he shares real stories of our real people living real lives, the good, the bad, the ugly, the nice, the nasty and all the things in-between. Yes it can be shocking and unimaginable but its gutsy , unique and extremely informative and interesting 👍 Stay true 2u Mark, I see you ❤ an Australian fan who cares 🇦🇺🦘🪃🫶
I cannot process "not" seeing Mark in heaven. He deserves it so much, in fact, God has him here on earth "doing" all these works for Him and Mark doesn't even realize it.
He holds people so high. He truly can respect humanity as a broken and flawed species. He is a rare breed of man and truly loves himself as he loves his neighbor. That’s the secret- he admires who he is without arrogance and gives that same honor to his neighbor. He is the freedom we pray for.
I absolutely adore Mark. He’s such a genuine and beautiful person to a fault. I think he cares too much for people that don’t care or love themselves and in turn he gets hurt by them. Especially what the Whitakers are doing to him right now.
Caring too much can be a form of "self-harm". I just hope Mark & his team find a "healthy balance" that enables them to continue with their mission and also stay mentally and emotionally healthy.❤
This interview with Mark was pure fucking gold.It was such a “behind the curtain” view of Marks heart and the way he operates and the principles that guide him. Take notes because the world would be a better place if we all adopted even half of his ways.
Mark has been blessed. He is an absolute angel. God loves him and inspires him to dongood. I believe he is a modern day saint. Blessings Mark you are loved.

I have learned so, so much from Mark today. I am one of those broken people who had a horror filled life and even worse childhood. I am trying to forgive. I agree with hope and focus and concentration on what you want to do with this life and I am just now at almost sixty figuring it all out with therapy. I want to thank Mark for what he is doing . He is a true rare gem in a world of muddy rocks.
I believe Humanity will Always Prevail and suffering will always exist. There are great people on this planet that make a difference and if you can help instill and prove that Humanity will always Precail, then it will always. Mark and his team are Angels that walk the Earth.
I thought he said he doesn’t have a wife now; he was married. But divorced, because he was married to his work. He’s so amazing! He truly deserves the best; I hope he finds it.
I love him. The more I see, the more I admire him!❤ At one point, I only saw him with the Whitakers & thought he was exploiting them. I've watched more interviews & sometimes I can't finish because they make me too sad. I once worked at an SPCA clinic for about 10 months. There are people who can do the hard things, but I'm not one of them. Mark can do the hard things.
If Mark is all of the things you mentioned above then he would still be married. Hes divorced like 70 percent of all couples in the United States. You live with someone then you see what they are really doing like
@@3nheaven Why does a divorce define him? Does that really make sense? Absolutely not. He has a passion for his work, and drive, and work ethic that is unmatched. Sometimes those qualities don’t mix well with a relationship, definitely not a marriage. Thats absolutely ok; you don’t have to be in a relationship or married to have good qualities, and wonderful things about you. That’s just such a ridiculous way to think.
Mark I have loved your work. ❤. As an addict in my early life it was very frightening to get straight. I am not risk adverse and that is what got me into trouble and what also got me out of trouble. Thirty years clean. I love your rationale- there needs to be more awareness about people who are addicts, lost, lonely, sidelined, different and on the fringe. These people are voiceless.
“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear.” I John 4:18 Mark, you’re on to something when you feel so deeply about love and forgiveness. That’s the heart of God speaking through you. Have you ever considered giving your life to Christ? You’re closer than you think.
Mark is a beautiful soul. Ive learned so much from watching his interviews. I think ive also learned about myself. Mark, i hope you realize what an inspiration to so many people. Bless you.
Love your selfless work and all the time and care you put into the people who are battling drug, addiction, trauma, homelessness, poverty, mental health problems, etc you are a wonderful friend and therapist and role model total respect
Unconditional forgiveness is not a AAA insurance plan for walking lightly on the earth. It’s like grasping at yet another formula to avoid suffering. It can lead to enabling others to be themselves at your expense which ultimately weakens boundaries and growth. But, hard won moments coming from suffering can lead to grace, to forgiveness and understanding which are divine.
Love or fear. I couldnt agree more. It takes courage to be vulnerable and to love without fear of getting hurt. On a side note, i love Mark's honesty and no-nonsense attitude. I reckon he'd be a person to sit down and have a coffee with, he seems to have learnt so much from his SWU project. Emotionally taxing but what a privilege to bear witness to so many people's journeys
Soft White Underbelly has changed lives and opinions. Mark is an incredibly interesting as a person. To be open to the perspective of anyone's wisdom, regardless of their journey and choices ... Is incredibly beautiful and strong.

You are an amazing person.... So often when I am miserable with my life I watch The soft white underbelly and see, how blessed I can be with my resilence that I grew in my own life. I didn't end up on the streets and become addicted, I had at least 5 different long therapies...and somehow I managed to bring up my child with loads of love though I never got any from my parents.... I know how many of the ones in the portraits feel...I am with them and on the other hand so glad that I managed somehow.
Yes it can be shocking and unimaginable but its gutsy , unique and extremely informative and interesting 👍
Stay true 2u Mark, I see you ❤ an Australian fan who cares 🇦🇺🦘🪃🫶
If you really cared then you wouldn't respect someone for exploiting the most vulnerable in order to boost his own career
Mark is right. The lesson of this life is love and forgiveness. That’s what we came here to learn. I think I’m gonna need a redo. I’m a slow learner.
i've watched mark from the beginning. his empathy and willingness to sit down and talk to people nobody wants to talk to is what kept me watching.
I cannot process "not" seeing Mark in heaven. He deserves it so much, in fact, God has him here on earth "doing" all these works for Him and Mark doesn't even realize it.
Church was one of my safest places to learn and move on.... and be a student to remind myself how the lord is my only true friend
I love and admire this man
He holds people so high.
What makes you think he cares about anything other than boosting his career off the backs of poor and homeless people?
Caring too much can be a form of "self-harm". I just hope Mark & his team find a "healthy balance" that enables them to continue with their mission and also stay mentally and emotionally healthy.❤
This interview with Mark was pure fucking gold.It was such a “behind the curtain” view of Marks heart and the way he operates and the principles that guide him. Take notes because the world would be a better place if we all adopted even half of his ways.
Mark has been blessed. He is an absolute angel. God loves him and inspires him to dongood. I believe he is a modern day saint. Blessings Mark you are loved.
This really is one of the best if not the best motivational interviews of all time.Thank you Mark.I really appreciate what you do.Don't stop doing what you're doing Mark.
Thank you.
Greetings from Namibia, Africa.

His portrait work is phenomenal
People sleep on his portraits but they tell so much each one of tbem
Mark is one of those souls who is really invested and interested in his fellow humans. That’s profoundly important.
I love every interview I see with Mark. This guy has such heart and has so much to say. Great great interview.
I believe Humanity will Always Prevail and suffering will always exist. There are great people on this planet that make a difference and if you can help instill and prove that Humanity will always Precail, then it will always. Mark and his team are Angels that walk the Earth.
Just seeing this. I totally get it. A course in miracles is a part of my life ❤
Mark Laita is one of the most kind, empathetic, soft spoken, caring and humble men on this planet. His wife is an extremely lucky woman.
I thought he said he doesn’t have a wife now; he was married. But divorced, because he was married to his work. He’s so amazing! He truly deserves the best; I hope he finds it.
He’s single.
There’s a deeper connection between the Ego and fear than he’s explaining.
I’m obsessed with his videos, it shows me how lucky I am, gratitude and kindness.
“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear.”

Mark, you’re on to something when you feel so deeply about love and forgiveness. That’s the heart of God speaking through you. Have you ever considered giving your life to Christ? You’re closer than you think.
Please Lord, may this be so. In Jesus name, Amen

All my respect to you Mark. Thank you for everything you do ❤
Love love love love him and his work.
RIP Jerry!!!

Thank you Mark for doing what you do.
Mark your a great man.
Mark you make this crazy world a better place
Soft White Underbelly has changed lives and opinions. Mark is an incredibly interesting as a person. To be open to the perspective of anyone's wisdom, regardless of their journey and choices ... Is incredibly beautiful and strong.
Mark''s wonderful gift is his voice......the voice is very compelling.
I really like SWU and the fact that he helps people is great. Unfortunately some people have taken advantage of him abd his good will. If more people would act like him the world would be a better place.
Unfortunately, Mark has exploited many people who are unable to give full consent.
Fixed it for you.
Marks voice is so soothing . I can listen to him talk all day
I’ve loved Mark’s channels for years and years and I love it more now after seeing his sincerity and genuine love for humanity.
Yes Mark you are making an effect on the world. The educational process of interviewing people is great! The compassion and intellect!!!
My Dear 🌺 having seen all these real horrible stories, You still are so empathic...all the time You fight back Your tears....
I thank You for not getting distant but for staying with these souls.
Thank You so much for showing us all what is really important in life 🙏🙏🙏
May You be blessed and loved❤
Thankyou for showing the real Mark. I love this man’s heart so deeply. 🇦🇺🥰
I 100% agree Mark, unconditional love is the meaning of life.
You are an incredible human being Mark. Your motivation is pure and your photography out of this world. ❤
