I've got a pair of cx201 which I guess were the inspiration for the Mark Appleyard pro model that came later. I like the look of c1rca shoes and it brings back memories of my jr. high days, I had the muskas back then that look like boots
the CX201s were a really really sick looking shoe, the debossed tpr underlays near the ollie area/toe area of the shoe definitely made it stand out from the rest on the shoe wall.
agreed, i think you speak for most of us that grew up in the late 90s / early 2000s. i got the same feeling when DC retro-ed the Lynx as the Lynx S (slimmed down, single piece toe) and was excited but when the Lynx OG came out it got me so hyped that I bought into every release. thanks for your support Leigh Kavan!
Everyone is comparing these to the first Lopez shoe, but this model was released years later and people don’t seem to know that. This is spot on to that pair. These ARE NOT a reissue to his first shoe
Look up the AL805 there are a bunch of photos from before Circa went under years ago, then look up his first pro model, two different shoes, the 805 is a more modern tech version
@@Leoo00oo1 i see, thanks for pointing it out and the tip! i keep seeing images of the al805 with the airbag for some reason, but will look harder and hope to find it
@@tylerspeer963 yes yes, Circa should've definitely put an airbag in these but i'll get what i can for now. air bag or no air bag, that is the question haha
agreed!!! the iPath relaunch could've been so much better if they stuck to the original logo soles, assuming that they lost the mold somewhere in time and just had to come up with a 'new' outsole.
@@tjgotkicks89Sorry if this question was late, but where did you order your C1RCAs since the other Nations of C1RCAs aren’t available in the US. (obviously) Since I want to order the 205s or the 805s since I wanna try some cupsoles.
@@suchaverage6430 ma guy i got lucky with a Malaysian guy who ordered these from C1RCA Argentina and sold them to me. I really wish i could give a more descriptive answer but my best one is that I just simply got lucky. Try hitting up the south american C1RCA counterparts on their IG and see if they can sort out some kind of shipping arrangement with ya from their website (which I couldn't get to grips with since I can't check out my cart being from Malaysia). Hope you get your pair soon!
@@suchaverage6430 yeah man there are some there but its mostly just the AL50s. I feel that the wider catalogue range may be coming stateside sometimes soon, don't quote me on that thought haha.

I don’t know if anyone is dying for the same quality on retro skate shoes, but people definitely want the correct shape and sole I think

hi Leoo00oo1 thanks for the info! mind linking the images or the magazine scans to the pair that you're referring to?

How is the fit?Are these true to size?
True to size, yes. I got these half a size up because that was all that arrived here in Malaysia
I hope C1RCA in the US won’t fuck up their relaunch like 2020 or like Ipaths relaunch.

No tongue centering straps? 👎
yeah man, just wish they had 'em for a much more snug closer fit to the foot
