I feel like all these points have been the questions I have been beating myself up about. I have been on a journey to getting my body back after having babies and have always had an eating disorder since growing up. You and and a few others I follow have helped guide me into this transition and I’m not going to lie, it’s hard not to compare yourself and at times it seems so easy for others doing fitness and I’m not there. So it’s really refreshing to see that everyone has their limits and it’s ok I’m not there yet. Also the time of the month, just passed and I didn’t work as hard as I usually do, now I see it’s normal and never though to find different workouts. I really needed this. Thank you.
I agree with doing what feels right to you re: pilates - quite frequently I go against the status quo if I feel my form would suffer or if the movement itself doesnt feel good to me. I also use my fertility cycle to guide my workouts and daily plan etc.
Hey Sami!! Pilates megaformer and reformer are actually super different. Solidcore and classes like that tend to really add a ton of springs and go really fast! Traditional reformer classes typically do not do this ❤️ just don’t want people to get the wrong idea!

I feel like when I’m visiting my bf’s family, I have to make more compromises and go with the flow in terms of food choices; even when it’s not something that I would normally eat. Curious to see how you navigate that.
