Eri is basically the mascot for what the good/nice parts of DOTA 2 community and DOTA 2 in general represents. This dude is the literal reflection of a great person devotedly playing DOTA 2.
Absolutely, I don't care about these coaching sessions 1 bit, rarely watch them as they're too long and its way too basic but Eri is very enjoyable even though I really didnt like his show presecence and screaming etc (way too cringe), you can see it's all just an act. He's 700 times better student than Bowie, those sessions were so bad even though I could legitimately learn way more from them.

We should put some more arbitrary numbers in there too: 9k-4k = 5k mmr Eri 1k-4k = -3k mmr 5k-3k = 2k mmr 2k mmr / 160 ping = 12.5 mmr/ping Eri feeding at the start = (+1 sad)(+1 regret) Therefore = (12.5mmr/ping)^(sad*regret)/Eri ... so that's pretty fair I reckon
Bsj it seems as maybe you and Eri view this as "possible since sponsored" content when in fact you shouldn't underestimate how immensely beneficial to your channel it is. And that is, even if you weren't to get directly paid for it. I hope you do not make the mistake of terminating this series, and thus loosing on remarkably powerful, attention grabbing, thought provoking, and very pleasant material. I'm sure you've had the same thoughts ... just sharing my and - I'm sure - a handful of other's similar view.

That smoke play at 20-min was brutal. It was amazing how BSJ knew where they were, and moreso that he was able to explain it easily. Never would have thought that. :D
I used to be a healer on WoW on satellite internet. 10,000 ping. I literally had to pop my big heals 10 seconds before I knew a boss’s high damage ability was about to come off cool down.
For the youtube algorithm!.. its a really hard game for people who just started playing and learning the game..dota has change so much since it started and it sad for new players. That is the reason why more ppl play league more.. though the counterpart of it is for ppl who were playing longer..this is the reason dota has been more fun than any other moba..its really complicated.. props to bsj for the patience of coaching and props to eri for learning "SUCH A COMPLICATED GAME! " unlike anyother moba!!! ❤❤❤

Eri is so charming. And tbh seeing him talk about the salves and seeing bsj smile, be warm and happy is such a contagious feeling. It was so adorable and i was smiling with them. I strive to have this same dynamic in dota. 👏🥳🥰
Hmmmm I'm around 4.5k and I definitely remember getting crushed by "Mid or tiny airlines" To make myself feel better I'll just say I was getting smurfed on
1000 hours of thinking about the game and watching bsj made me better than the 5k hours i randomly played 4fun, indeed i was not looking to get better then but after i watched bsj the temptation couldn t hold not to
i think they way of bsjs explaining and his changings between 'good cop' and 'bad cop' is exceptional. He really has this attitude of catching people (im a teacher myself, thus i know what you need to do to make ppl wanna learn from you).
Next thing eri really needs to work on is his positioning in lane. He gets out of position a lot. In front of his WK all the time, practically diving the tower to get a courier kill, etc. Love the series and honestly not trying to flame just curious as to why this hasn't been higher priority thing to teach.
@@kamekazi1123 Gotta disagree there. It's easy to teach. Tell him as the ranged support to never get in front of me. Or never get between me and the enemy. Or, you usually don't want to step up past the creep wave as a support. It's not about self control it's about decision making.

I feel like they could have won that game but BSJ was defo posturing in front of Eri and taking silly risks and bad plays to show of a little in front of him. They killed 3 of their team earlier in the game and could have collapsed on middle and taken tier 2 easily without contestion, or if they did defend atleast they could have forced some buy backs and increased the gold difference in their favour more. Should have tried to end the game early but instead it turnt into a farm fest and a Wraith King vs a Doom and Morph isnt going to end well if all 3 are just getting fat all game.
Absolutely. Few things give as much of a dopamine rush as having a good game with good coordination, or being one step ahead of your opponent every move.

44:46 I hate to do this, but I've gotta disagree. No matter how much I farm or kill in the first 15 minutes, it feels like the other team is just better off all the time. Like, I'm honestly confused. I understand that I'm bad at the game but it's driving me crazy how I can't figure out what to do to win. I've learned (and still learning) creep agro, using spells to farm, leaving the deadlane (or staying if I can't die), but it's still not enough to win games. Just gotta put this out there. Am mad.

i dont think so. if you ask a 9k player for coaching, of course he goes hard on you. and its the same in any time of sports. i trained muay thai with a 2x times world champion. and i can promise you dude, these dudes go for it. even when sparring. you have to learn how to handle real pressure if you really wanna get good. thats why my coach hammered me in sparring. thats just reality. dont expect anything to come easy to you!! if you wanna just play dota for the laughs, of course you can just have some fun. but then i dont recommend you hiring a 9k coach. thats doesnt make sense!
In the Jakiro game Eri is not using his spells much at all the first 10minutes, and he has got 3 clarities in his backpack. Could have pressured the opponent a lot more in lane. Just saying. Love the videos though=)
I agree with eri on his standpoint with carrying being stressful. very stressful at the low ranks when you and your team have little ideas on what to do lol. the higher mmr you get the less stressful carrying is imo and vice versa with supporting
@Death Guidance I know that not everything is about Miracle-, it's just the first thing that came to my mind. I don't know where it's coming from but it would make sense that BSJ who has watched Miracle-'s games, that he recognizes the name. If BSJ would now the original source he would probably say so, since he is a Dota 2 figure I would assume he recognizes it from one of Miracle-'s games. No need to hate me for that or saying to go back to my 'mancave'.
