Two of the strongest supports (dazzel and venge) one of the 3 strongest carry (gyro, others are sven and PA), the mid and offlane were kinda swapped but dawnbreaker and earthspirit are both pretty broken heroes this patch. I think dope that they won and hope they learned in the process
I feel that without coaching radiant would have lost in 30 minutes. Really nice showcase of how strategic of a game Dota really is. I would definitely try to put more thought on how to win fights like that. Also Hoodwink plays were really impressive, good job dude!
Im not convinced. I want dire players to play radiant and each side using exactly the same hero, as in radiant using the heroes radiant using now and vice versa. Then have bsj to coach the dire instead. Both would have some experience like the dire would now know bsj is going to tell radiant to aim their dazzle, but radiant would also know to go on dazzle first and how important it is and probably more committed to it, because that am didn't seem to understand. it until maybe the last maybe 15min. The only other factor is just how well each player know those heroes because they are playing heroes they are familiar with.

The amount of micromanagement was surprising. Also, this was, from a legend players point of view, the most tenacious team when it comes to trying to kill me. That was the main difference I felt that they were insanely focused on killing me as Dazzle, way more than I usually feel in pubs.
I'm surprised BSJ didn't recommend aeon disk for your dazzle. I would've opted for aeon disk+aether lens and staying out of vision to keep myself alive as long as possible

I think glimmer and forcestaff on either support would have been the way to go. No chance they'll have vision from having to kite. Especially late when nightstalker doesn't have inventory for dust. Also they won't go in unless you're out of position and as weird as it is. They wouldn't go on u if you were in between to your team. That would not be kiting. You could also just bait yourself into having nightstalker over extend like he did many times. But really y'all lost the last fight because you didn't know where the enemy was coming from and jumped for free. I always have a ward for fights only or where I think the fight is going to happen next. It's still tough playing dazzle when other team knows to kill you. It is what it is brother lol

The level difference between players is actually insane. On one side Zeus and AM goofing around and reacting frustratingly slowly, and on the other hand ES and Hoodwink true gigachads with God tier stuns. Cores vs supports difference? Is it actually harder to gain MMR as support?
I loved this! If you do more of this in the future maybe invite the team that did not get coaching to come back into the next game to be coached instead of flipping a coin and just keep it going that way.
Then the rank is just gonna keep going up since the team now that got coached is lower than the dire. And next the dire will be coached but the new enemy team have to be a higher mmr than the dire and its just gonna keep going up
This was amazing, it just exceeded everyone's expectations both from the players and BSJ himself, anything could've happened but I think the video idea is great.
Great video and we are getting a different kind of education from this video to the normal smurf game which i think is more beneficial for players at the lower levels for game timing and fight timings appreciate all you do BSJ
I thought I wouldn't be able to watch this video in one go but it was too much fun so I did :p Please make more content like this! Sometimes also as a player we wish for the game to look a certain way but you noticed you had to micro people to be able to make your vision happen. It would be interesting to see how you'd adapt your calls if you couldn't micro as much.
I feel like this was the perfect example of dota being a bunch of little tasks to complete that all push the ultimate goal of winning the game. Was a great watch and a great learning experience!
Zeus of course ;) BSJs communication with Zeus wasn't very good this game. BSJ had a lot of implicit knowledge about what's important, which Zeus unfortunately didn't. But BSJ was too slow to realize that and made calls that Zeus couldn't handle like BSJ wanted him to. The problem was that Zeus playing in a certain way was really important in this game, which BSJ understood, but the players' natural playstyle wasn't like this, so Zeus had to learn in-game what this playstyle was, which obviously is really fucking hard. Big respect to the Zeus.
the problem with this kind of stuff is it's basically a 5.5 vs 5. Having one player who can devote their entire attention to watching the map without having to control a hero is just such a huge advantage.

What should have been the losing team had a higher chance based on Bsj seeing where they can fight which was around the ulti timings of NS and Zeus. Creating a unison mindset on when to fight and when not to. Practicing consistency of gank mode to farm mode as a team. Ganking as a team is an objective where its winnable because the entire team are a kite team even into meta heros. WP bsj

Man as a support player I really felt the pain of BSJ asking them to kill the dazzle 20x times. I play almost exclusively backline support type heros and no matter how much mobility our cores have, so often it is impossible to persuade people to focus targets; Dazzle in particular comes up A LOT. It is always frustrating watching their key backliners live through a near 60 second fight after we jump on their hardest heroes heroes to kill (here dire has 3 tanky AF frontliners). All in all, really enjoyed the change of format and hope to see more Edu Smurfs in the future!
He had a real issue with reacting to instructions, though tbf it seemed like he genuinely couldn't hear a lot of the time. If there weren't several slow responses/weird plays before the "I didn't have TP" moment then it probably wouldn't have been an argument. Dude seemed kind of set in the standard mid mindset of aggressively farming top and bottom, and hoping to jump into a team fight halfway through to dump a ton of damage on the enemy. On the other hand, NS seemed like he kind of struggled with the coaching at first, but really quickly started reacting to what was being said in a less brainless way. After the first fuck up where he left his team behind in the smoke and threw the fight, he learned from his mistake and was more mindful to them. Really nice to see.
BSJ pls tell us how tf do you deal with the new OD. I tried nullifier but it doesn't remove the new shield. The Orb is pure damage, the ulti is a ton of magic. What can one do against such disgusting characters? Do I need to buy diffu to burn his mana, bkb to survive his ult and and orchid to prevent his stupid prison? Like how the hell do you play against it. The whole concept is so weird I can't find any answer to it and it's picking up rapidly in the midlane.
i suggest bsj coach both teams same picks after ewch games so both teams know what to do and see if that would makes it better and makes big difference and makes them better who aggree?
Pretty exiting game! Too bad we didn't get to see the scoreboard in the end. I have never seen those last tier neutral items in action because no game goes this late in my bracket. All of them seem so op one would think the game ends pretty fast at that point.

Specifically picking AM is fine, picking NS is fine, but picking them both for this team was a bad call because it left them kind of limp in team fights vs the dawn breaker, earth spirit combo. If they would have had a tanky initiator, it would have made things way easier.

Dazzle needed Shadowblade to go invs vs nullifier. Make AM or NS lose a slot to carry dust
I didn't know that Shadow Blade works vs Nullifier. I thought Nullifiers disables absolutely every save I can get.
