Sorry I'm late but I just wanted to type my thoughts real quick. Regarding Spot being able to levitate at the end of the film, I figure it's because he can make his portals anywhere, whether that be in the air, moving, etc. Well, at the end of the film he essentially IS a portal, which in turn means he can manipulate himself to move anywhere he wants. Hopefully that makes sense.
