Ive just bought the limited edition documentry and album disc combo and Im watching the documentry and ive found a new level of respect for Staind, im only young but ive been listing to staind for about 4 years, and The Bottom has become my fav song right now. I love the feel of this album, takes me back to Break The Cycle. I love this Band and i love this album. Staind keep righting songs and we'll keep buying the records.. Much love and respect from the UK!
Just recently bought this CD from Zellers, and My 3 Favorite Songs are: Awake and Alive - Skillet Set the World on Fire - Black Veil Brides and this one!
Why do you care if they are on the radio? It's music. Use your ears and determine whether or not YOU like the sound. Everyone grows up one day and realizes what really matters.
i met staind by moveing along on the internet. never heard of them befor. or maybe it is just because im from EU i havent heard of them. they arent that fameus. but thank god i found them. they are the best band i ever have heard. Badass songs. i like rock! so many peopel listen to pop. im thinking they have no soul since they dont listen to any STAIND!
Ok. I may believe that Staind can still make good music. I just hope the new album has more pain to it. That's what made Staind great....the stories of pain and sorrow, and the way the fanbase connected with it, shared similar feelings. That's why "Illusion of Progress" sucked...there was too much happiness, too much feel-good. I know we all have a right to happiness, but I don't care to hear how much you love your wife, Aaron. Fortunately, it sounds like the real Staind is back. Hallelujah!
I was so glad to hear this song on the record and not just in the transformers cd. This resembles a dysfunction like song more than anything on the record.
@VarietyGuy88 Mike Shinoda had stated that A Thousand Suns was only a concept album, so it was purely experimental, not to appeal to the masses in any way. I trust they'll be heavy LP in the next album
Aaron you always suprise us! This album is gonna be great. All you albums are great, but this seems fresh, raw! We still got your back in Massachusetts. We take care of our own.
This song, as of lately, always makes me think of Catching Fire and its rebellion. The part where he declares, "You'll never take us all!" could be the anthem of the very rebellion
Who the hell would dislike this?!... Notice how the 'Like' button stands out more than the 'Dislike?' Yeah, well the dislike does not go well with this song... See you at the bottom, haters.
ohhhhhh ^^ it starts to sound like a new album comming next ^^ i cant wait to buy it!!!! everytime they make something new i can feel that it has to come xD till now their kind of music with every song and every album was like a diary of my life hope next kind of my life will be good XD^^ THUMBS UP 4 STAIND 4 EVER!
Based on the comments on all their new songs, I am one of the few who likes their slow stuff a lot more than their heavy music. Anyone can do heavy, but not everyone can sing as well as Aaron, thusly all my favorite songs by them are their slower ones.
@VarietyGuy88 despite the fact that they do what they want which is why the next cd is going back to meteora style, you could sense the meteoraness in a thousand suns
@TylerSampson51 Break The Cycle has heavy songs besides Cant Believe too. eg For You, Open Your Eyes, Suffer, and Its Been Awhile, while not being that heavy, still has the groove and the depressive attitude
@VarietyGuy88 ATS is a great CD. You got to to listen to the whole thing to understand it though. I'm hoping the next album is heavier, so they don't become like Staind did for a while and release like 5 light albums before getting heavy again.
I wouldn't say Linkin Park is a sellout, they merely attempted to evolve and try new things as a band, every band should try to reach new levels but should also be smart enough to know what works and what doesn't. Not saying present day Linkin Park doesn't have a fan base but they will never captivate the world as they once did when they began. Staind went back to what works and I see this album doing well.
Wow, a real hint of the old school staind here. When he says "I'll meet you at the bottom" it sounds like how he sings in dysfunction. And of of course he actually screams again!
@HelicalColossus You completely missed the point I was making. I said "Overlooking the lovey-dovey feel of it," meaning what I was talking about had absolutely DICK to do with the lyrics. I said it was a betrayal in terms of sound. The music wasn't Staind music. It had this country feel. I know Aaron has done solo tours before, and some of his stuff had that sort of sound to it. But that's the purpose of doing something solo...so it doesn't intertwine with the way the band sounds.
@shadzzz441791 LMFAO!!!!! You literally just made me spit out my drink all over the damn bed hahahaha thanks for that.. have another glass of wine for me if you will :)
the lead singer of linkin park didnt sell out... he sang so hard that one day he had an injury with his vocal cords.... if he didnt have that injury he wudnt have gone soft
Staind has come back from the grave they dug for themselves. I saw these guys in 99 at the Family Values Tour and they rocked. Then they got weak after that. All of you who say bands should be able to switch up their style......Bullshit. You like a band for ONE reason. Because they kick ass. Because you like their style. I hated this band after Dysfunction, but now they are back to their roots.
@VarietyGuy88 Sellouts?!? Meteora and Hybrid Theory are 2 of the most commercially successful albums of all time! If they were "sellouts", they would have continued to make music that everybody wanted to buy.
Yeah, a few bands are goin' back to their old style. Plus some of these 90's bands are makin' music that DOESN'T sound too much like the current generation. It may be asking much but I really hope this is the beginning of a music revolution....
This brings back some damn good memories of my teen years.
Staind never disappoints
the way Optimus looks in that poster is one of the many reasons ive loved him for so many years
This is such an underrated song

My Boston boys. Nice to have you back!
Impressed! The heavy and light merge brilliantly and doesn't sound as depressing as it once was...Dysfunction 2 methinks and about time...
Staind is back its about time
i met staind by moveing along on the internet.
never heard of them befor. or maybe it is just because im from EU i havent heard of them.
they arent that fameus. but thank god i found them.
they are the best band i ever have heard. Badass songs. i like rock!

damn this is bad ass. staind back to their old ways and that is a very very good thing
Great song
Aaron's singing in this song reminds me so much of Shaun Morgan and the old Seether material.
Took them a few albums, but seems like this will be Dysfunctional quality! Really excited about this album.
Love 'em. Love 'em!!
Favorite song from the new album so far.
EARGASM
great song.
I am soooooo happy that they are back I LOVE THEM
Angel Wings not now😢
I was so glad to hear this song on the record and not just in the transformers cd. This resembles a dysfunction like song more than anything on the record.
N this is why I love Staind!!!!!!!!
Awesome, can't wait for the album to come out! The sound is more heavy then on the last 2 albums, what is not a bad thing. Thanks for uploading this.
this is my most fave song. of the new album.
Staind may be regaining a few fans if the rest of the new album is this heavy, myself included.
Welcome back Staind! How I have missed your aggression and screams.
I like this song a lot :)
Finally.. the OLD Staind is back!
FROM HERE WE TAKE THE BATTLE TO THEM
@VarietyGuy88 Mike Shinoda had stated that A Thousand Suns was only a concept album, so it was purely experimental, not to appeal to the masses in any way. I trust they'll be heavy LP in the next album
i lovvvveee this
This is a great song!!! i cant wait till the album comes out!!!!!!
@xXKIPXx glad you've noticed that as well! not many bands stay true to their style..thank god for staind and limp bizkit
Bout time they pulled away from that pop sound they were starting to develop.
Staind for life!
Aaron you always suprise us! This album is gonna be great. All you albums are great, but this seems fresh, raw! We still got your back in Massachusetts. We take care of our own.
Love it Love it Love it!!!
This song, as of lately, always makes me think of Catching Fire and its rebellion. The part where he declares, "You'll never take us all!" could be the anthem of the very rebellion

Im so happy they are getting heavier again :D
head banging good
@Henry14arsenal2007 Agreed, I was referring to the more screaming side of Staind, but you're right, that album is heavy. So is parts of 14 shades,
epic :D the man who makes the transformer films know what good music is ;D
Based on the comments on all their new songs, I am one of the few who likes their slow stuff a lot more than their heavy music. Anyone can do heavy, but not everyone can sing as well as Aaron, thusly all my favorite songs by them are their slower ones.
@DeVILZn1ght great album all the songs are good
@VarietyGuy88 despite the fact that they do what they want which is why the next cd is going back to meteora style, you could sense the meteoraness in a thousand suns
Holy balls, Staind doesn't suck anymore.
BOOOOOOM They're back ! stronger as Hell ! :D
Great Song! Next version of Mudshovel!
i can imagine this song being the sound track to the movie underworld
@TylerSampson51 Break The Cycle has heavy songs besides Cant Believe too. eg For You, Open Your Eyes, Suffer, and Its Been Awhile, while not being that heavy, still has the groove and the depressive attitude
staind: the bottom..... my drug of choice

Best song on the album, and im a linkin park hardcore fan.
@VarietyGuy88 ATS is a great CD. You got to to listen to the whole thing to understand it though. I'm hoping the next album is heavier, so they don't become like Staind did for a while and release like 5 light albums before getting heavy again.
💝 Well time to drop weight I mean cargo To get to shore on a sinking ship. 💛🤝💛
OMG READ THE LIST!!! 'LINKIN PARK, PARAMORE, MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE, ....., STAIND,............, BLACK VEIL BRIDES... best bands on that list!
I wouldn't say Linkin Park is a sellout, they merely attempted to evolve and try new things as a band, every band should try to reach new levels but should also be smart enough to know what works and what doesn't. @shadzzz441791 LMFAO!!!!! You literally just made me spit out my drink all over the damn bed hahahaha thanks for that.. have another glass of wine for me if you will :)
The sound is more heavier like Dysfunction than it is compared to Break the Cycle type of sound. At least they went back to their roots.
Ladys and gentlemen
Fu*** Staind is come back :D!!!!!
the lead singer of linkin park didnt sell out... he sang so hard that one day he had an injury with his vocal cords.... if he didnt have that injury he wudnt have gone soft

So glad they are back from the crappy music I love staind when they had a edge like this
THEY'RE FUCKING BACK
fuck yeah, STAIND ARE BACK!
