Super helpful to see what each gender should pack, as it does differ a bit. Love how calm you both are. I get a headache watching a lot of the people on this platform and with you two I felt calm and peaceful. ~ Hope you had a great trip!

How did the Fjallraven hiking pants work for you? And which style did you bring?

👋They work great for most days with just mist and are definitely more "water-resistant" than "water-proof" ....as seen in our Visiting Vestmannaeyjar video(th-cam.com/video/30TO22n7kK4/w-d-xo.html) they struggle with heavy rain or lots of water (to be expected). They are great paired with Gore-tex shell pants!
We both have the Vidda Pro Trousers from Fjallraven

Your "Pack With Me" video is a lifesaver - seriously, your packing hacks are gold! Your approach to minimizing stress is truly commendable. Oh, and before I forget, have you heard about the v4 Bento Bag by NomadLane? It's creating quite a buzz in the travel community!

When you talk about a “base layer”, what exactly do you mean? Is that the same thing as thermal underwear?

Hi Vee! Great question. While both thermals and base layers can help keep warm, base layers are also moisture wicking to help keep sweat away from the body to keep the person comfortable. Base layers are normally made of merino wool or synthetic materials. For Iceland in particular I would recommend moisture wicking since there is a lot of walking/hiking and sweating is expected 😊 base layers do come in different ‘weights’ depending on your preference and how cold it will be in your destination.

Iceland used to be cheaper in the 80s. It was a fun place to go for Sports crowd. Those were the best days.
