Fran, your molds are always spectacular. As soon as I saw this video hours ago, I immediately went and ordered this mold. I can't wait to get them. I'm especially excited for that massive cabochon. I've never seen one that big before. I have so many ideas lol. 🤩💖 (This is Niki W.)
An oral syringe is great for getting smaller amounts of resin where it needs to go. You can get small ones ir if you want to do something bigger you can use a turkey injection syringe without the needle. When I did a dreamcatcher mold I used the turkey injector to get all the little sections.
Thanks so much! I know how frustrating it is to buy something and be disappointed by what's in the box, so I truly appreciate your feedback :) Let me know how your creations turn out :) fran@little-windows.com
Hello! I love your vids. I have an idea that might work for this, would you be willing to chat with me about it? With our combined experience it could save us both time and money if we put our brains together before hitting the lab. Reach out if you're willing :) fran@little-windows.com
Omg postage is too expensive for me in the EU... more than doubling price... but these are some of the best moulds I've ever seen... great design... love them ... good job... I just need to move to the US now 😂
Yes, please move here! If you haven't signed up for our email newsletter at little-windows.com, you'll get a welcome discount code when you do. Thanks so much for loving these molds!!! fran@little-windows.com
I love this set so much! As soon as I saw this video I went in and ordered it along with a couple other items I had been waiting to get. Resin is my happy place and helps me to stay busy as I just went through months of chemotherapy and cannot work. You put your items at such a reasonable price too! I have seen regular molds that were not as amazing as these go for way more. You do the resin art community such a great service by keeping your prices fair. I cannot wait to get the set and I will definitely be doing a video and tag you when I do! Thank you for what you do! 🤗
Oh Crystal, you are a lovely person! Thanks so much for your feedback, your goodies are on their way, I can't wait to see what you make with them :) fran@little-windows.com
Honestly this is ingenious! You mentioned using them with clay... are these molds heat resistant? Can you bake polymer clay (solid clay or liquid clay) at 275F (135C)? Or would it be better to demold (solid clay) first and then bake?
Hello! Yes, they can be baked along with your polymer clay, as long as you don't exceed the recommended temp for your brand. If you're using a grittier clay, I'm not sure how long the shiny mold surfaces will hold up before scratching too much, but I haven't had trouble yet. I'd love to hear back from you once you have a chance to play around with these (photos are always welcome :) fran@little-windows.com
Thank you! International shipping prices stink. So sorry for now, hopefully I'll find a less expensive, reliable shipping option in the future. fran@little-windows.com
Hi Fran, I purchased several items from you but have an important question. If I add a thin layer of your resin over a stone cabochon like turquoise etc and then finish it like I normally do as to make sterling silver rings, bracelets etc will it eventually dull or is it not a good idea? Is there a different type of resin that you know of that would work better in this situation? Also making a sterling silver ring with a cabochon I made with your resin in place of a real stone? Just don’t want to sell a customer something that is going to dull easily? I appreciate any advice your willing to provide 😊
Hello @sherryperez8228! I'm not sure what you mean. Please email a photo or sketch of what you're thinking of and I'll be happy to advise :) fran@little-windows.com
This would be a game changer for me! I am disabled and can't afford extras anymore. Could you donate a set to me please? Thank you in advance, and I would be glad to advertise this set. Just send materials.
