God, I wanted more, I wanted to see him just one_more_time, but I guess it was "Time To Move On". This was one of my most favorite TP songs, and this my favorite version. I love it when the band kicks in, such a rush! Thank you, thank you, thank you for so many years of so many great songs. Every time i saw TP&THB, they just seemed to be having a good time Up on the stage.
What happened to the movie/concert footage? I loved the Rebellettes and the whole concert…can’t give enough love to TPATHBs…. Pack Up the Plantation was the perfect segue from regional to national recognition and fame. Please release it again!
Not too long ago Pack Up The Plantation (the full concert) was on TH-cam. If someone was able to put it on again that would be great. I used to have the video years ago and it would be great to see it again. If they were to put it on dvd I would definitely buy it.
Looks like we need some responces, so here we go...AWESOME! Always loved TOM Petty. He did some "good" solo stuff to be sure. The HEARTBREAKERS however were one of the best pure bands around. Fairly basic yet tight chemistry wise. They did work w/Tom & Stevie Nicks, they were the primary band on Don Henley's Building the perfect beast, & so on. I saw Tom 3 or 4 times & in his case who's backing him up...MATTERS! So here's to Tom Petty & THE HEART BREAKERS! Both great in their own right! god BL
