- Hello everyone,
3 years in a video of ten minutes. After our Honda Accord got into an accident we figure it was a good time to remember where we started from. With the help of a lot of amazing people Jacky has come a long way. A lot of people to thank but one of them is FMSPEC and his hard work as he has build it and now is rebuilding the car again. I've always loved the accords but no idea you cleaned the engine bay up and re-sprayed it. Awesome build, looking forward to seeing it back on the road!

I love the Honda Accords from the 90s early 2000s
They have a low ride height from the factory so when you lower it looks nice and low has a nice and spacious interior with modern car features from that time and their more bigger 4 cylinder 2.3l VTEC engines makes 150/150 HP&TQ with a 5 speed manual car feels quick for a daily driver compared to the regular base model civics

This accord looks strikingly similar to the Acura 1.6 EL, although the EL is probably smaller all around.

What did you do to get a trunk with no lights? Is it a different cars trunk? Sorry if i missed that and it was in the video.
trunk with no lights are 94/95 and with them are 96/97. They are not interchangable.
@@AutomotiveAnatomy Just to understand, when you say not interchangeable, do you mean I cannot put a 94 trunk on a 97 car? Or do you mean I cannot remove the lights from a 97 trunk?

I got a question for anyone that knows Hondas real good. I'm thinking of getting around a 2010 Accord because they come with the K24 engines. Are there any years or engine codes I need to stay away from? How hard would it be to find a transmission to manual swap it?
Just look for a manual to begin with that’ll save you a lot of time and hassle
@@ronaldknoll2468 thank you I actually just found one that I'm going to look at. It's a 2010 coupe ex trim which I believe has the k24z3 and a 5 speed manual. Do you know if that's a good engine and transmission? I'm not looking to make crazy power. I'd be happy with 300hp and even more happy with 400 but no more than that.

@@ekisfrole3118 No, you need to fender roll the front and rear so they do not rub but with oem fenders you may not be able to go as low

I used to love this car in my middle school. How much was a build like this? If i had to guess 10k-15k
More than that since we spend on random stuff lol If I was to add up all stuff I would probably die of laughter or sadness. In just two set of wheels and paint combine it comes out to 10k.
Just find a 5th or 6th gen accord with good paint, then it’s all downhill from there. And around 3k is usually fair.
I've always liked the original color of the coupe.

my coupe accord never wants to start i think i have a shortage on my starter wire think it would be hard to re wire a starter on a 94 accord?
Does it crank?
@@AutomotiveAnatomy yea but it hesitates to start like ill turn the key over then in a few seconds it will crank and as soon as it cranks it turns over no problem.
@@DaeSpark sounds like an ignition switch or the distributor to be honest. Sometimes when the starter starts giving out, it will get stuck and sound horrible before it turns over.
@@AutomotiveAnatomy For sure i appreciate the help and the suggestion i am fosure going to get some new ignition switch in there makes sense too from all the people who tried stealing it but failed. By the way i was curious on where u got your Tail lights super clean and i cannot find them anywhere.

You didn't have any issues with your UCA for going that low? Been trying to lower my accord but my UCA is hitting the wheel well and it sucks lol
YES haha that is common man. Only way to get rid of it is to cut the engine bay or raise it up..I cracked my oem UCA.

Depends on style and look for your car. I find that if you want to add wings, certain ones will work with that chassis.
