Love how dylan went from watching vague unknown trailers to the popular ones that he somehow remained oblivious to
Literally hahah you can tell he is not on social media a lot cuz all of these went some level of viral at some point lmao
I think he is aware that they're popular, that's why he picked them to react to.
@@yulianstarr yeah but like unaware of the vibe of any of them
You mean we cause even tho they got over a million I’ve never heard of them either 😭
He lives under a rock
the person who wrote the bully secret is a literal sociopath, that's horrific.
I thought the same thing. Sounds like there are some maladapted social skills there.
Definitely narcissistic behaviors. Even if they aren’t a sociopath, they are a narcissist 100%
I wouldn't even want them watching my channel anymore if I was Dylan@@ahleenah
Exactly! I was thinking clinical sociopath too
Sounds like my ex tbh, same type of sentiment and reasoning about their own lack of care for others
Dylan not connecting the dots after ripping into Nicholas Galitzine’s character in that Cinderella movie, then reacting to PH & RW&RB, is hilarious for some reason 💀
To be fair he went from brunette and British to brunette (buzz cut) and American to blonde and British. And even though WE know they’re all Nicholas Galitzine, I can see to an outsider how they wouldn’t make the connection. Nicholas manages to look like himself but also an entirely different person every role he is in. He’s a damn shapeshifter.
But I too was laughing that he reacted to the PH and RWRB trailers nearly back to back and still didn’t notice 😂
I love how he said that EEAAO looks expensive because the most impressive thing about that movie is that they worked with a budget of only 25M... Truly one of the best films ever
I don't know a lot about it, but it looks expensive to me too, so that's impressive!
@@jijitters bit of extra fun context, they only had 6 people working on the film's VFX, and they were literally following online tutorials for some of it because they didn't know how to do stuff they wanted to, all of the VFX look great in the end result and and it is definitely one of my favourite films of all time.
Was looking for this comment 🙌
I didn’t really like the movie that much.
But I must say the visuals were amazing!
I liked watching how they made the movie more than the movie itself. Lol
@@jijitterson pyour
Dylan reacting to two movies Nicholas Galatzine is in and not making the connection is hilarious.
ikr😭
IKR when he recognized Taylor from kissing both but not Nicholas from from purple hearts that he just saw is so unintentionally funny lol 😂
it’s even funnier that he doesn’t recognise him from cinderella when he roasted nicholas’ character non-stop 😭😭
In all fairness, Nicholas Galitzine looks completely different as a blonde. 🙃
Wait... what's the connection?
I believe Red White and Royal blue did so well because MLM or WLW couples don't get romcoms they usually have the tramautic love stories and this was something that people could watch and enjoy that straight couples have. The movie was something cringy but cute and fluffy.
Also the book is very popular and people were eagerly awaiting the adaptation. I personally found the book much better than the movie, especially because they changed so many thing (some very unnecessarily) but I think you’re right in that it fills a gap in queer movies and for that it was very good.
Meh
Definitely because of the books as well. The books are quite popular and I’m pretty sure fans were excited for the movie so it would obvious good as long as they were somewhat related to the source material.I would definitely say read the book as it is better but you can watch the movie if you have feel for some rom-com flicks.
OMG sooooo cringe... but adorable in a very gay way. Bi, actually.
@ninaemerald9071 I definitely agree the book was much better. The movie took some elements away that would've been very enjoyable, but it still has the gist of what most people wanted.
Dylan kept sayinng how expensive EEAAO must have been, but the budget for the movie was actually only about 25 Million, compared to a typical marvel budget of 200+ Million. Not only that, but much of the sets and props were puppets or ingenious camera tricks, and the entire movie only had 6 digital artists, which you can see working on the movie in a zoom call in one of the multiversal montages. It's an incredible movie, funny, heartwarming, heartwrenching, emotional, impactful, visually stunning, and literally changed my view of the world. The movie now has the most awards of any movie of all time, including seven oscars. DYLAN YOU GOTTA WATCH IT.
Amen to that. WATCH IT DYLAN. MY FAVORITE MOVIE
I was laughing so hard when you guessed 24% for Red White and Royal Blue because it is actually a very enjoyable film overall, they just add the most upbeat and cringey parts in the trailer, and I knew it did very well. It's also based on a book which always gives it higher marks as long as they didn't screw it up too bad.
seeing dylan guess 24% on rwrb and knowing the score might be one of the most joyful moments of my entire life
Yesss mine too 😂
Sameeeeee
Yeahh😂😂
same lmaooo
But is it a good movie, because it does look like absolute trash.
I honest to God hope the secret about the dude who bullied an autistic kid is made up cause I can't quite process that such vile and narcissistic people actually exist
That person is most likely an undiagnosed sociopath. People like that don't choose to ignore others feelings, they are physically unable to care in the same way that we do
@@wolfwarrior9451 yeah I thought that could be the case. But it's still very chilling to see someone so cruel and so self aware at the same time, and specially the fact we frequent the same internet spaces, idk it feels upseting somehow
They exist. There are awful sadistic people in this world who do cruel things. Never forget it or you’ll easily be blindsided one day. Ofc there are plenty of good people in this world!!
He sounds like a sociopath. I hope he gets therapy in the future because he ain’t right in the head.😬
It might be worse to thinks someone made this up to be “funny.” Actually both scenarios suck
I love how, even though the critics gave it a 0%, the audience score for “My Fault” was 89%, which was higher than the audience score for “Everything Everywhere All At Once”. 😅
This is why critic scores are better
thanks for pointing this out you’ve ruined my day and made me lose hope in humanity
There was only 6 critics scores to be fair but yea huge gap
@hannahbun not necessarily, didn't audience's. Also, lots of people didn't understand EEAAO
@@tommyturbo321 what
when he watched the purple hearts trailer i was like “wouldn’t be funny if he watched the rwrb trailer as well” AND HE DID that’s hilarious, he had the opportunity to do the funniest thing ever and he took it without knowing 😭
tbh i feel like dylan would hate rwrb if he watched it bc its a bit corny and it does feel like a disney movie at times (i love my disney movies) but i love it very much and im currently hyperfixated to it so i dont care what anyone has to say about my little silly gay romcom
As an autistic person, hearing that person talking about not regretting bullying an autistic kid and knowing that this bully enjoys watching dylan just like i do has officially killed my hope in humanity. I cant understand how people can be so evil they enjoy hurting others just for the fun of it. And the way they were proud of it? Bullying kills people. They're a shit person and i hope they learn to be better and actually reflect on their actions, if not, then i hope karma does its thing
They definitely got neglected by their parents and wanted to take it out on other people. Majority of the time when someone bullies others is because they're miserable in life and is jealous, because something is happening to their life that is making them mad that other people are enjoying theirs.
samee except my brother is autistic and seeing what he goes through those people make me sick
@@Carl_P0ppanah... i feel like that person is a borderline psycopath. Like not feeling sorry at all? Seriously? Jesus...
@@Tenshikichi1 I was going to say the same thing! Sounds psychopathic.
@@Tenshikichi1 not even borderline - that's just plain psychopathic behavior. They have no feelings for the pain of others and have made up some false justification for it by saying either bully or be bullied.
I find it so funny how dylan recognized the one guy from red white and royal blue from the kissing booth but not the other one from the trailer he watched right before
I watched purple hearts twice (against my will) and still took time to figure out that it was the same guy in rwarb😭 I was like 50 mins into the movie when my friend mentioned purple hearts and I was like WHAT?
Ngl I ain’t notice that shit either😂😂
and the live action Cinderella 😂
@@familyfun6995he spent so much of that video making fun of his singular earring too😂😂
red white and royal blue is great! It is trashy and that fits the theme of the movie perfectly. For me it reminded me of 2000s rom coms. The leads have incredible chemistry which adds to it as well.
Kissing another person when you're in a relationship is cheating
Ty! That was frustrating 😂
like???🤨
I don't think I've ever laughed as hard as I did when Dylan revealed the last movie had a score of 0%
The audience score was 89% and I’m loving that contrast lol
IMO it's a horrible movie... it's just sooooo WattPad - imagine every single stupid plot you could have in a WattPad story - that's the movie
He almost got it with the wide window!!!
it would’ve been even funnier if he just went 1-99% 😂😂😂

Lol it's a Tuesday in my country 😂
@@emaster2435 comment: ooga booga
google: “this is self-evident”
Everything Everywhere All At Once was actually made on a very small budget for its genre (25 million). The Daniels used a lot of practical effects to accomplish that and only had a group of around 5-6 people for special effects. Another reason why this movie is so amazing!
That bullying secret sounds so similar to someone I grew up with. she claimed to be my friend but realizing now at 25, that was never the case..
The difference is, I’ve told her how cruel she was and she would never even (fake) apologize.
There are people like this out there, unfortunately, and I hope they look into themselves soon . Although, in my experience, theyre very comfortable in their narcissism and lack of compassion/empathy.. I hope the person who was hurt, is doing okay now ❤
The one person who bullied people kinda scares me. How does someone have so little empathy for other people?
Probably a sociopath or psychopath, just undiagnosed. Like, some people physically can't feel empathy
Unfortunately I knew some people like that when I was in school, that would bully others just for fun. I'm shy so I was the target of bullies a lot.
No sympathy whatsoever for bullies, they know what they are doing and they never change, they just lie about it.
I feel like he actually does, he needed to justify his actions with this 'if not someone else he would get bullied' stuff. that guy is just really insecure and overcompensates with this Patrick Bateman role he presented here. Honestly after the 20th time of him boasting about his no empathy thing it got kinda old
Yeah that’s serial killer vibes. That’s like when a judge or lawyer asks “do you have any remorse for your actions” and they respond “no. I know it’s wrong but nope. I don’t really care.”
@@ellismith2745I agree. A sociopath or psychopath wouldn’t feel the need to justify their behaviors like that. But that person definitely is a narcissist. Narcissists often have low self esteem (from getting emotionally neglected by their parents) so they need to overcompensate. That’s where the “bully so I won’t get bullied” mentality comes from, too.
Red white and royal blue was based on a popular book and the movie was mostly faithful to it so every loves it. IMO it’s great as a movie that was a book but not as a movie itself.
i agree, and its kinda ironic. Normally its an ok movie for itself but an awful adaption (i am looking at you peter johnson), but here it really is better if you know the book, cause it fills in all the blanks and cute moments in between the drama.
Mostly faithful??? Its incredibly unfaithful to the original, half of the story and characters aren’t there. Loved the book, thought the movie was very disapointing
@@sarahbosch9660peter johnson is having a series soon though hopefully that’s better😫
@@samitavelez I know, I am very devastatingly hopeful for it! XD I loooove the books, altho I might love the heroes of Olympus series even more, and I would celebrate it so much if the series is good enough to go on for five seasons and maybe even the sequel >.
@@palomaroggeri8680 I get what you are saying about the characters, but even tho I have to say the movie felt rushed they managed to put in a lot of iconic moments. (The cake, turkey, dancing, summer retreat...) So yeah, I think mostly faithful Is correct.
seeing that 0% gagged me like it was so hilarious 😭😭
ok i loved red white & royal blue. but Dylan's reaction to the vitamin D deficiency line is SO REAL 😭
I would love for Dylan to react to Everything Everywhere All at Once because I know he would enjoy it and give such an insightful commentary about the film making choices.
he won't do it if you tell him to
Yeah and I think it'd be a very fun commentary
Shhh don’t say it out loud ! Just secretly hope for it like everyone else, because Dylan doesn’t take recommendations, if people say it, it won’t happen 😢
@@trisharb I know lol I'm not counting on him reacting to it (literally 0 faith this was just a thought). I'm just hoping he watches it on his own atleast because there's so much to learn from it...shit I didn't expect the comment to get 1k likes, this is y'alls fault 😫
saaaame. it was such a ********************************* movie (stars don't mean anything, just didn't want to spoil the film to anyone)
Everything Everywhere All at Once is an incredible movie. Instantly went into my top 5. It was made for like $20 million. The special effects crew was only 5 people!
I didn’t know it was relatively low budget! I would’ve been convinced otherwise.
its actually the vfx artists that were only five! Special effects are the ones that are actually happening on set, vfx are what happens in the post production process! That being said i have to agree, the 5 vfx people did wonders with the amount of vfx shots in this movie
i know!!! i was listening to dylan say it looks so expensive at the vfx shots and thinking about how only 5 people did it at home by watching youtube tutorials. insane.
I love how Dylan takes a cringe moment and makes it infinitely more cringe. Now that's what I call talent
that castration one that wants to be a therapist is concerning 💀
I was looking for someone to comment on it, I´m not sure how I would feel if my therapist wrote and enjoyed reading about people being subjected to all kinds of violence. Especially because depending on your specialty as a therapist you're going to treat people that have suffered violence in real life, how are you going to help them if the idea fascinates you in any kind of way?
@@iskravelez9939I don‘t think someone writing fiction about something means they are „fascinated“ by it happening irl. And ultimately, therapists are meant to interact with patients through a „professional persona“ anyway- so this would not come up, the patients would not know and it probably would not affect their competence in any way. I understand that these things can „squick you out“ very easily (and they‘re certainly not my cup of tea), but I really don‘t think the fanfiction someone writes in private influences their everyday behavior or competence at all.
@@iskravelez9939 if it helps you feel better, therapists are trained to view clients through a very specific lens devoid of their own personal opinions and values. of course those things play a role to some extent but as a professional, you keep your personal life out of the job. being a therapist is kind of like being a detective and a mirror at the same time but with a lot of empathy and patience. it seems like that person writes fanfiction to cope with whatever they're coping with as s a personal outlet in their private life rather than something they would somehow bring into their workplace or work mindset.
I would be more concerned with the bully.
They actually did horrible things to people and still don’t feel remorse.
They are definitely making the world a worse place by just being alive.
They probably have antisocial personality disorder so I hope they see a therapist.
People like that usually don’t though…
That bullying secret sounded like either an angsty teen or a person with some type of sociopathy

red, white, and royal blue was incredible. It really really resonated with me and has become my biggest obsession. Nick and Taylor have INSANE chemistry and it makes the movie feel so real. They don't have the greatest trailer but they definitely made a beautiful movie.
red white and royal blue had corny dialogue but the acting was good, chemistry was great and the story was fun at times and emotional at others, but never overdoing it. definitely much better than all the other fanfic movies. i enjoyed it quite a lot
I kind of disagree, I thought the acting was super stiff and the emotional points fell flat to me. the dialogue was so fanficcy that cringeing wasn’t even fun, just embarrassing 😭 not trying to discredit your opinion though! crazy how movies can hit so different for different people haha
Nah the acting was 100% the best thing in the film the whole cast was SO great. They gave their all for what they got! Especially Nicholas Galitzine :)
@@thatpeskyrat agree with you. Everyone around me loved it, so I tried to like it too without success, spend the whole time cringing. The acting and the way they were speaking was over the top for me. I get why people enjoy it, but if they want a quality gay story, I would recommend Young royals
@@MagiBgsee I low-key love cringing at movies if the romance is cute

Honestly if red white and royal blue was a movie with a straight couple it would 100 % have a worse score but as a lgbtqia+ we just don't have dumb fun and cringe rom-coms. So it was nice to get this one. I hope dylan will watch it tbh I think he would enjoy it when he got into it kinda like she's the man. Plus the couple have great chemistry which pulled the movie up
but its critics reviewing it and im sure most critics are old white men so you think they would have rated it worse, but then they probs didnt want to seem homophobic lol
@@steephaniieeeeenah the critics are like movie reviewers, podcasters, you tubers and such - would be interested in seeing the movie in the first place. rwrb is one of my favorite books of all times. It is genuinely well written with really good characters and storyline. I was happy and laughing throughout the book. The movie adaptation managed to stay somewhat true to the book and also brought back old romcom magic which was missing from movies. This is why it was so well received. Plus both Nick and Taylor were *chef's kiss*

Red white and Royal blue is great. It’s definitely cheesy but it’s supposed to be that way. It’s really rare for queer people to get a fun rom-com so it’s a bit of a breath of fresh air. It’s based on a best selling book which Imo is definitely better than the movie. But does it matter if he still gets all of them wrong?
RWRB is singlehandedly bringing back real romcoms with A+ chemistry idgaf
OKAY TRANSITION KING!! That was so smooth and unexpected!!

Good to know :)
As soon as I saw Dylan roasting the shit out of RWRB's trailer, I started laughing, knowing his score would be way off. Against all possible odds, the movie is damn good.
I also like how he either didn't notice or didn't point out that the prince in this movie is the same army dude from Purple Hearts lol
i watched both movies and knew it was the same actor, and still watching this video i didnt even think of that xD
Because prime did them diservice😭
And the prince from that camila cabello cinderella movie
The whole point of Red, White & Royal Blue was to not have a "straight guy and straight girl" in love trope...but to give queer community cheesy-ass rom-coms. Yes, it is cheesy but in a good way with lots of heartfelt moments...especially the love-making scene in which they actually make love and they are the focus, the intimacy and that is what separates it from the other cheesy rom-coms... ALSOOOO THE BOOK IS GREAT
Amen to all!!!! The love scene was beautifully done and the plot, though probably done before with straight couples, felt refreshing when done with a mlm couple 😊

To be fair, he's hating on the awful trailer that Prime Video made.
This is the first time I watched the trailer for this movie and it didn't give it justice AT ALL. Yes is a bit cringey at some points but the amount of enjoyment and hope that I felt when I watched it just overcame everything bad in it. (Also the actors have a lot of chemistry so it helped a lot)

I actually really loved red white and Royal blue; Both the book and the movie and i'm so happy that it got higher score then what Dylan thought. Lol maybe he'll do a reaction to it to either prove himself right or be pleasantly surprised that it's better than he thought.
I just want you to know that I've been following ever since your first To All The Boys commentary. Today is my birthday, and you really made my day with posting today
Red, White, and Royal Blue is a cheesy romcom but it is very well executed and has a good heart. It is a feel-good film that you're not supposed to take too seriously.
I really loved Red, White and Royal Blue. It was definitely formulaic but it was a cute premise and there was enough sincere, good acting that it hit the right notes.
love how you watched 2 trailers of movies with nicholas galitzine as main character in them
(purple hearts i barely remember but i know that i loved nick in it hahah and red white and royal blue i absolutely loved, mainly cause i read the book and loved it and it was pretty accurate to the book plus the chemistry between the 2 mains is amazing)
was very excited to see your reaction to the rwrb score cause i knew it'd be higher cause ive seen a lot of good reviews about it hahah
i watched many reactions where the people went in "i dont think I'll like the movie" but theres just something about the movie that they ended up loving it gahah
dylan: if it was a girl and a boy it'd have a 10% score
yeah kinda but more so cause the movie wouldn't really work if it was a girl and a boy plus the chemistry nick and taylor had really made the movie
That was an absolutely superb transition for the whiteboard
i just wanna appreciate that whiteboard transition….. very clean…. it’s the little things that make videos this good
I was scrolling through the comments to find someone talking about this because I KNEW I couldn’t have been the only one to be geeking out over it. It was beautiful, 10/10, no notes
Dylan the reason Red White and Royale Blue has such a big score is because it was based on a book that's also cheesy and enjoyable. It really has a cult following. The CGI in it is top tier btw. :))
Dylan holy jesus i didn’t realize this channel had almost 700K subscribers!!! You’re awesome and i’m so happy you found your calling💜
Fun fact, Everything Everywhere All at Once had a VFX team of only 6 people. And a total movie budget of 25 million!
I saw 3 idiots in that list and now I'm dying for your reaction on the trailer. Its not a want its a need now.
I need him to watch the movie too 😩
16:05 I saw Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and I lost my mind instantly 😂 It is now a need of mine for him to react to some bollywood trailers
@@star_astro_ omg how did I miss ZNMD in the list 😭 yeah some Bollywood trailer reactions are long due now.
@@annaofcossacks you and me both 😭😭
I thought I was the only one
to be fair, red white and royal blue doesn't have the best trailer. it included some cringey lines so i get why you weren't expecting the score to be so high. but i rarely saw negative reviews on it. it did amazing! and there are rumors that we could end up with a sequel.
apparently Everything Everywhere All At Once had a pretty low budget for filming! which is super impressive because the visuals are insane
i have so much fun watching these videos. thank u dylan
probably 100s of people already said it, but... everything everywhere all at once is just well made, it isn't expensive at all
Dylan being consistent is my favourite thing in the world.
Can't believe dylan hasn't seen everything everywhere all at once! i hope he reviews it, he was so excited by the trailer 🥰
oh my god i love this man, he simply delivers, no matter what the video is about
My thoughts of Red White and Royal Blue as someone who didn't know about the book or the actors was "not a great movie but it was cute and I want a sequel". Idk, it just makes you feel good. However, the chemistry between the actors is what saves the movie.
The chemistry between Taylor and Nick was OFF THE CHARTS
Dylan has been posting a lot of videos on any other days except Monday and claiming it WAS Monday. Now that he actually did post on a Monday, I questioned my sanity. Thank you, Dylan!
I know! I had to do a double take on the calander lol
12:36 no one talking about how it says 62 worst pickup lines behind dylan
This is such a good video format!
Don't we just love seeing Dylan being punished by our F-ed up secrets 🥰
Idk....I feel like we were all punished by that bullying one 🥲
r u the bullying one💀
When that 0% showed up on screen i balled 😂😂😂 this was such a funny video, Dylan is so hilarious this made my monday ❤
Ahahahah that video made me laugh so hard and I really needed it. Thank you so much Dylan for making great content !! 🤗
i can't believe dylan didn't realize that the guy from red, white, and royal blue is the same guy from purple hearts
„Friends don’t cake each other“ should find its way into the urban dictionary
I literally watched red white and royal blue earlier today it’s so cheesy but so adorable
Im on break so i gef to actually watch your vids instead of listening - and your editor is amazing. They kick ass and theyre jokes are sipreme 😊😊
Awww, you're getting so good at writing your numbers! Way to go!
I can sense another twitter storm coming because of his red white and royal blue reaction 😂
Now I want a movie commentary for Red White and Royal Blue
YES!
I'd love to see you watching everything everywhere all at once :)
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SERIES
