    Fringed leaf frogs are some of the most beautiful amphibians I've ever seen in my life and I am honoured I get to own 4 of them 🐸✨! I hope you all enjoyed today's video! Don't forget to answer the QUESTION OF THE DAY! Than you to all my Reptiliatus Patrons for making videos like this possible www.patreon.com/Reptiliatus !

      Rainforest junky breeds them also. Prob the biggest frog breeder in United States . Should watch Dave Kaufman video about him. He has all sorts of cool frogs and brand new morphs !

      @@GooseAroo2022 yes! As far as I know he is one of the only people in the United States breeding them so far and his method is completely different (super sterile) which is interesting to compare to how Savannah is doing things here in Canada!

      Hey, this is the guy from your silk moth video, I told you my beardies diet and I got surprised when you responded. An update on her: she’s been trying to eat her decorations, fake leaves, rocks bigger than her, etc. Do you know what I should do? She’s never done this before, so I am really concerned. 😕

    I loved this video! I'm also an Ontario local who picked up a few tadpoles from her as well and am now the proud owner of 4 small fringed leaf frogs. My favourite phase of growth was right before their front leg emergence! I found they looked and moved like little spaceships through the water! I also found them very shy and had use their little poops to reassure myself that each one was eating before I combined them into an exoterra

    QoTD: mine would be axolotl’s. The first time I saw one in our local fish store I was in love. I did my research, and three weeks later brought home my leg less baby, and named him shnoodle the noodle. 4, almost 5 years later and he’s still with us, and will play and interact with my 3 year old daughter. He started my love of amphibians, which is how I found you, and reignited my love of reptiles

    Oh I’ve been excited for this vid since you collected the tadpoles!!! So interesting to see!
    My favourite amphibians are pure nostalgia tbh, I’m a big fan of the good ole toad, Bufo bufo, but my absolute favourite is a bewt. When I was maybe 6 to 10 years old I used to catch newts in my grandparents pond. I loved it so much, waiting for one to surface catching it and getting a close look and then letting it go again, I could spend an eternity there. The newts were all smooth newts and I do love those BUT, one time something amazing happened that I still to this day remember vividly. I dragged my net through more of the bottom leaves and muck to look at insects more than amphibians, but as I looked through the dark mush something big moved. Bigger than anything I’d found in that pond before. It was a Northern Crested Newt. A female so no exaggerated tail, but still so beautiful. I remember thinking it was like finding a dragon. And since the Northern crested newt has had a very special place in my heart. Never seen one since, they’re not commonplace where I live and I never saw one in that pond again, but one day I hope to see one again.

      @Reptiliatus  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much! I'm happy you enjoyed the video! Wow! What a cool story! I had a similar experience seeing a newt as a child and rarely see them anymore although all we have in my area are Eastern newts, which don't get me wrong, are beautiful!

    Omg. I know exactly what you mean! I just got my froglets July 13th. And they have been so tiny. And I was afraid they weren’t eating too. So I do watch there bellies and make sure they aren’t looking thin. How do you watch them in the dark. I’d love to be able to see mine eating. I do have two little Click cameras inside their tank, but they’re fixed in one position. I have yet to see any of the eat. I do know they’re eating, just like you said, the little poops on the vines and leaves. And they’re growing for sure. I noticed one shedding tonight. I don’t know if they’ve shed before. But I haven’t seen it. And it’s funny, I say “They’re SO cute” all the time too. It’s because they ARE!! Lol. (Mine are White’s Tree Frogs) I hope the one with the spot on its head has healed up fine!

    I really love the video keep it up I would also relieve like to add as someone who is thinking about getting some frogs I would really like it if you could add a little sound clip of the frogs Call that you’re talking about as for me personally that is important when buying a frog so it doesn’t wake me up at night

    QOTD: just learned about the three stripped poison dart frog, and it’s amazing! The reticulated glass tree frog is also 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻. And those little salamanders with the skinny arms and no lungs are soooooo cute!! And of course the namaqua rain frog. The lil frowny face! Axolotls are so so interesting. They never grow up. But then surprise! Sometimes they do! Amphibians are great.

    I'd love to see a silkworm breeding video if you haven't done one. I got 250 eggs and i've only grown 10 to about half inch size. Not the best success rate :(

    Hey Dayyan! You've done it again, another great video. Loved to watch these guys grow! My favourite amphibian is definitely Theloderma corticale (or Breviceps macrops, if they start becoming captively bred 😍😍) and is definitely a species I want to keep someday soon!
