Homemade Tent for Truck Bed!

A quick walk-through of "Porky's" (a porcupine once ate a lot of his gear) homemade tent prototype for the back of his truck. This version is the first one he's made simply out of PVC and a cheap tarp, but it goes up quickly and has quite the clever way of raising and lowering the sides.

Couldn’t tell what you did with the ropes at the start. How is the top bar put together so the side panels open and close? What kind of hardware is holding the tarp on the poles, like a window blind? One of the better diy truck tent ideas out there, would be even better if demo’d when not drinking!

Have you tried converting a regular tent into a truck tent? Tarps are noisy. Good job though.
