Best everything watch, Rose gold and steel is a classic a summer show piece. I love the way it reflects light and that bracelet is extremely comfortable.
I don’t understand the hype around the Pepsi when the Rootbeer is in the catalogue. I just picked up a BLNR on oyster a few weeks back. I have myself on the list for a TT Daytona and my wife for the Rootbeer, should have both in about a year to 18 months. Rolex TT is outstanding, best in the business for TT I think.

This watch is just amazing in person. Videos and pix dont do it justice. Only two tone I see most people going crazy for and rightfully so.
I see the chocolate dial and jubilee coming for 2021 or soon after. This will make it a much dressier choice. As is, I feel it rides a very versatile balance of sport and dress. As with the Pepsi and Batman, the case will be altered some to accommodate the jubilee. The Rootbeer does not share the same case as the Pepsi and Batman at the moment. This watch is easily the most interesting and coolest Rolex in my opinion.

Shortly after it was released my AD persuaded me to buy the CHNR. It is a real beauty but I only kept it for a couple of months since it just didn't fit into my lifestyle as it is quite a 'blingy' watch. I ended up part exchanging it for a 2004 'slim hands' steel Daytona.

By far the best 2 tone Rolex and in my opinion only the blue face Sky Dweller can match it in the Rolex range for all watches that are not made of solely precious metal. No other steel models compare. 5 months and waiting on my AD’s list….

Much prefer two tone to solid gold . I think two tone is more than enough , whereas solid gold is too much for my tastes and the considerable increase in weight as well as the fact that solid gold is so much harder to keep pristine can often mean the serve as safe queens ..

I disagree , two tone watches are not a stepping stone to a full gold watch , a full gold watch to me is flat and a bit tacky , two tone is the right balance. I think they are the difference between elegance and exuberance.
Glad you made this video as promised. Enjoyed it very much and agree with just about everything in it. I finally got mine on Halloween, after a 5 month wait! I am still in the babying it phase. I still love my Bluesy as well, so sometimes I have a hard time deciding which one to wear! Looking forward to the last video in this series, the comparison between the two.

This and the chocolate Datejust 41 made me love two tone again. I love this one, but I will see if there will be a chocolate dial or jubilee next year first.

i have a rosegold ceramic daytona with rubber strap and i enjoy wearing it everyday without being too “uncle”. full gold bracelet is just too flashy for my taste and attracts unwanted attention. i would say the same about two tone gmt too, its just more everyday watch with a touch of luxury.

I like two tone better if the watch has a bracelet, if it has a strap, the solid gold. I think a solid gold watch with a bracelet is too much, unless it’s a 36mm day date. For whatever reason that just “fits”

Two tone is hip again. I should have purchase yellow gold blue dial Sub (college colors) before it caught on and doubled in price
I think the Rolesor options are the Goldilocks “just right” amount of bling without looking like you made your dinner with a bowl of spice, instead of just a sprinkling for good taste. 👨🍳

All gold is gaudy. 2-tone makes a steel watch soarkle. Its an accent material. Ihave a batman and a rolesor watch. One is a luxury look...dress watch. One is my daily
