Rasmus Dahlin is supposed to be the can't miss #1 Overall Pick in 2018, touted as the next Erik Karlsson. Plays in the Swedish Elite League. Definitely should be a High Elite offensive defenseman. Pastrnak is having a career year, should be boosted in either overall, potential, or both. Austin Czarnik is having a good season in Boston, he should be an everyday player at least. Konecny probably deserves a slight overall boost. Those were just the few I noted. Additionally, I know that a guy like Kailer Yamamoto is supposed to be a Top 10 pick in 2017, but ends up with High Top 6 AHL F potential, that should be edited, and potentially adding a US HS guy like Casey Middlestadt would be a good idea for the Year 1 Draft.
That's fair. He definitely is a generational defenseman, he looked really good in the WJC as a 16 year old defenseman, and has been dominant at times as a 16 year old in the highest Swedish Elite League. Kid's unreal.
Sebastian Aho from Carolina!! Make sure he is atleast a 82/83 overall with atleast top 6 potential. He has been one of the better players for Carolina this season!
Edmonton's Adam Larsson should be strong physically, defensively and capable of moving the puck. Don't make him so strong so as to be undisciplined because he is that steady shutdown guy.
Matt Benning is already a capable player similar to Sekera's style. I would suggest he gets a boost to 80-82(at best). Maroon has played a solid year. Deserves a little finisher ability. He has a small jump in his step in comparison to his in-game character. You may have already done that since I noticed he was an 84. Caggiula is a capable player. He plays a hard game. He's not a huge point producer. He should have a higher defensive ability and physicality since he has carried the third line centre role really well. Bring him around 80-82. Truth is that Edmonton has had depth all year. When people have gone down, there has always been someone who can step in and play. Pitlick, Lander, Pakarinen, Davidson, Gryba, Fayne, and Nurse all stepped in at one point and weren't detrimental. I think these minor tweaks will be more like their current placement in the standings. When I had Gustavsson I noticed he played nearly as much as Talbot even though he is terrible. Not much you can do about that. I don't know if giving Talbot a higher endurance would help or what. I feel like the fix would be too experimental.
You're missing Colin White to Ottawa!!!!!! He's probably a medium elite 2 way centre. Bob Mackenzie loves the guy, and can't stop comparing him to Bergeron.
On Ottawa, Downgrade Bobby to at least 86. Downgrade Ceci to about 81-82, Smith should be an 84 at least. Karlsson a 93. And make sure Colin White and Chabot get upgrades. And also upgrade Mike Condon to about 84-85
Alright Edmonton NEEDS to be boosted. They are a different team this year. Leon Draisaitl has 33 points on the year right now, he deserves to be at least 87 overall. Patrick Maroon has also been a beast for us this year with his 14 goals on the year, his offensive category should be boosted to make him at least 85 overall minimum Next Matthew Benning has been on our top pair of defencemen as of late and deserves at least 83 overall Lastly McDavid has been leading the ENTIRE LEAGUE in points, give him 94 overall, to counter act this lower eberle to 84 overall since he has had a shitty season. (Lower his toughness and balance, he's like a twig out there)

Montreal Fan here! Arthuri Lehkonen is the next big name on the roster. He puts puck in the next on a regular basis. Should be a High Top 6 Forward with like 83 Ovr and Phillip Danault should be Medium Top 6 with 84 Ovr. These are the two in Montreal that NEED a boost.

Bozak has 24 points in 36 games for comparisons sake and making Arturri 85 overall would be saying he and the veteran bozak are equally good and that's not fair. Arturri is an 80-81 overall medium top 9 max with a tiny boost to his shooting being fair.

For the sens, maybe create Colin White (two way forward) as a med or low top 6 and change Thomas Chabot to high top 4 or low elite. Make the overalls so that they have a chance to make the team next year (74-78 range).
Horvat should be a low elite 87 overall player. Why? Because when was the last time a player had more points than the sedins in Canucks. If u guy think that's stupid, go watch the 6 game winning streak that the Canucks were on and look at how Horvat was playing!
You know what I'd like to see? Bring back the Atlanta Thrashers! Take the Winnipeg roster, and farm team, and give them the Thrashers logo. Is that even possible in NHL 17?
On the Red Wings, Anthony Mantha has played really well this year (11 goals, 19 points in 25 games with a +11) and is playing on the top line along side of Zetterberg and Tatar. I'd say he should be at least 83-84 overall. Also with every franchise mode I play in NHL 17 I can't grow him over 84 overall so you may want to look at changing his potential from low elite to something else. Other than that I think the rosters look real good.
Up Viktor Arvidsson's overall (and maybe potential) on the Nashville Predators. He's second on their team in points. And up Kevin Fiala on the Preds. Also up Juuse Saros to be the backup goalie in Nashville. Up his potential. He is 3-3-1 (mostly because Nashville can't score) with a 1.29 GAA and .955 SV%. And move Reid Boucher on Nashville to Vancouver, that is where he is playing.

I'm not surprised about that. EA also left Pavel Datsyuk on the Coyotes and every roster update doesn't remove him. I'm happy Johnny removed him from his roster. The other person I thought could get a slight boost is Athanasiou. He's only 80 in the game, but he could be bumped to like 82 or 83. He has the speed and hands to get a bump.

A few changes: 1. Find out what happened with the Oilers and McDavid (and fix it) 2. Make St Louis better and Winnipeg worse 3. Lower the Kings and Doughty 4. Lower the Leafs (a bit) 5. Make the Metro better. Mainly Columbus and Philadelphia. 6. Capitals need a few changes. Holtby needs to be boosted, Carlson needs to be lowered, and Niskanen needs to be boosted. Also, Jay Beagle needs to be boosted ALOT. He is one of the best 4th liners and penalty killers in the league. (6 goals, 9 assists, 15 points, +11)

Here are some suggestions: - Change that hedman potential, it's a little too high and unrealistic - I would make Taylor Hall even higher than 90 overall, as he is up with a lot of the top players in the league and I believe that needs to be recognized. - Jeff Carter and Joe Pavelski are two guys who should be increased. - Anze Kopitar is unrealistically good at 93 overall, I don't think he merits that kind of overall - Edit Thomas Chabot if you haven't already These are just small things though, everything else looks really good. I especially love all the new players that you made from the Colleges, that'll be a great addition. Really excited for the new series. Glad to be getting away from the LEafs tbh!
Raise Jeff Carter to like a 91 - 92 ovr with a boosted shooting category because he is like second in the NHL in goals. and i would look at the players on the Canadian, Russian, and American WJC teams
I really don't think Werenski should have a 89 overall, that's like saying he's better then Ekblad already which he definitely isn't. I think he should be 85-87. Also lower Laines shooting, he's good but since he has the high elite potential it'll grow to that in a year or two so just lower it by about 2-3 ratings each category. Also you should add Rasmus Dahlin a 16 year old projected number 1 pick in 2018 he's a Swedish Defenceman

I think you should make Barrie better. Also, Buchnevich (NYR) should be low elite or medium top 6, and he's a RW PLY. And maybe, if you created Samsonov, you should create Shestyorkin too. He's a Rangers pick playing in the KHL. He's been selected to play in the All-Star game and he's one shutout away from the KHL all-time record. Also, maybe you can upgrade Timothy Liljegren as well. The top three for the 2017 draft should be 1) Patrick, 2) Liljegren, 3) Hischier
Hey Johnny, I'm not sure if you did this or not but, you need to send Ty Rattie to the Hurricanes. The Blues just dropped him to waivers and Carolina picked him up.
Panarin should be a 90-91, he is 6th in points this year and he has been one of the most valuable players for the Blackhawks this year. Even if he is elite he never grows much really so personally I would put him at his current level which is a plus 90 player.
Also some changes for some other teams: -Phillip Danault could be higher -Anthony Mantha should be higher overall -Matthew Tkachuk might be around 83-84 -Scott Darling has been amazing when Crawford was injured so he might be higher -Pastrnak is top 5 in goals I think, so he might have a better shooting category
I'm a cbj fan and you're right. I love to see the raises you did. As a side note, I agree with the down grade of Murray and Johnson to compensate for the increase in werenski but savard has had a great season. He plays a lot of key moments where we need him to shut down the opposing team
AM34 so are the leafs... this Canucks team isn't nearly as bad as people make them out to be. Sure, they're an average .500 team, and they aren't winning a cup or making it far in the playoffs, but they aren't last in the league either. 3 of our starter defenseman have been injured (Tanev, Hutton, Gudbranson)
If you could create one player it should be Andrei Svechnikov. Hes evgeni svechnikov's brother and is in a toss up position for first overall spot in 2018 draft (with dahlen), he's supposed to be the best russian out of the draft since ovechkin. You could also edit benoit-Olivier Groulx and Jared McIsaac (both are on the halifax moosehead to you don't need to create them) to be top 10 prospects in the 2018 draft with around med top 6 and med top 4 potential.
I know right now Werenski is on top of the NHL world, but ffs an 89 at 19 with medium elite. Johnny you made him higher than the face of the Columbus defence core Seth Jones whos at 88. Pls lower him to atleast an 88 or even 87. I have alot of respect for Werenski and admire what hes done, but thats insane. Pls like so Johnny sees :)) and hope you have a great day!
You could improve Teuvo Teravainen a bit - 85 overall? Also Cam Ward should be 86-87 He has played well. Also you should improve Derek Ryan's overall to 83 so Carolina would play him in the main roster like IRL. Also you could Improve Jaccop Slavin and Brett Pesce! Those guys are real STUDS in real life. Also I think Aho could be 83-85 overall. BTW I am a Caniac. Have fun in your GM mode!!!
Make Kristian Vesalainen a 70 rated player. He PLAYED in my favorite team in Sweden but is out on loan at the moment in finland. Hes allways working hard and is really strong for a 17 year old. Also make Rasmus Dahlin a high top 4. He is 16 years old and is already playing 1st line in Swedens best team atm. btw dahlin plays for frolunda.
Hey Johnny, one thing I love to do is pull up a list of the 2017 World Junior teams and go to each player from each team and give them a small boost (Like marginal) based on their stats. Example: Team Swiss had an amazing run, so I boosted Loic In Albon to med Top 9 potential at 64 overall, I boosted Nico Hishier to 70 overall (remained Top 6 F) as he ran the tournament. Serge Weber got a potential boost to medium Top 6 D so he can get drafted (The analysts all said he is guaranteed to be drafted). Definitely something you should consider for the next GM mode, it really spices up the draft when you see more and more familiar names.
I'm not sure if you edit Thomas Chabot (defensive prospect for Ottawa) but you should give him an elite potential (red or yellow) at a mid 70 overall. He is the wjc mvp afterall

I don't think you mentioned anything about Anthony Mantha, but he should be an 84ish player if he already isn't. He's kicking ass with the right lines this year.
Chara 89 -> 87 (He's getting old and it Really is beginning to show) Pasternak 85 -> 86-87 (Pastrnak has really broken out this year and one of Boston's best players) Atkinson 89 -> 88 (Despite his incredible performance, I don't think it's enough to put him on a level with Gaudreau) Werenski 89 -> 87-88 or MED Elite -> Low Elite/High Top 4 (Overall and potential combo are too high and are going to lead him to be way to high overall in 1-3 years into the mode) Bobrovsky 93 -> 90-92 (Again despite this year's performance I don't think it's enough to justify him being three points over Crawford. If you want them to simulate better with these changes, boost the depth) Gagner 85 -> 86 (Gagner can be one of the main boosts of depth the team has with his performance) (Maybe) Stamkos + Hedman + Tavares + Doughty + Kopitar Franchise -> HIGH Elite (While they are amazing, I don't think that they are on the level of Kane, Ovechkin and Crosby. Even Toews isn't Franchise potential Weber 95 -> 92-93 (Even if the Canadiens don't simulate well, Weber can't be the thing that fixes them. They've had a lot of their depth players step up such as Philip Danault who has been their 1st line center, so as with Columbus, boost the depth not the studs) Danault 80 -> 85 (With the heavy injuries to Montreal, Danault has been their 1st line center and playing decently and was a 1st round pick so it's not too surprising) Byron 82 -> 84-85 (The acquisition of Byron might have been one of the Habs' best moves lately with him being 4th in team scoring) Matthews 87 -> 89-91 (If you're going to give Werenski an 89, it's an injustice not to give Matthews a higher ranking, his performance speaks for itself) Manner 84 -> 86-87 (Marner has been fantastic for the leafs at 2nd to Matthews in team scoring and has done so after being heavily doubted due to his size. And again, if Werenski is 89 Marner deserves this Brown 82 -> 83-84 (Brown has proven himself as a solid player for the Leafs with solid defense on the PK and with some goal scoring) Gardiner 85 -> 86 (Gardiner has been the Leafs most productive D-Man) Andersen ?? -> 90 (After the first month, Harold Bluetooth has had almost a .930 save percentage and been one of the top goalies in the league) Laine 87 -> 89-90 ("Yeah, fuck off buddy we absolutely need more Laine clips. Fuckin every time this kid steps on the ice someone scores. kids fuckin dirt nasty man. Does fuckin ovi have 21 goals this season I dont fuckin think so bud. Athanasiou on Detroit needs a big boost. He has been quietly been scoring at a 20 goal pace since last year. It's also important to note that Athanasiou has been doing this with third and fourth line time. I really believe this kid has a tone of potential but he has a coach who since coming in for Babcock, has significantly lowered Detroit's best offensive weapons in the past few years numbers (Nyquist and Tatar). Athanasiou's potential should be medium top six or high top six and 81-83 overall.
Johnny, I'm a Wings fan, but you should lower Kronwall to an 84 and Ericsson to an 82. They're both pretty slow nowadays, and their puck handling isn't the best.
Forgot to edit Joe Veleno. He's the first exceptional status player to be drafted into the QMJHL. He's eligible for the 2018 NHL entry draft. He's gonna be a stud. Plays on the Saint John Sea Dogs
Just a few things to point out. Matthews should be a low/med franchise. And if you decide to go with low then you should bump down Eichel to low franchise too. Keep Laine at high elite and change Puljujärvi to med-elite. Also, Dubnyk > Bobrovsky. CBJ's major contribution were their offence so make Bobrovsky 91 and Dubnyk 92-93. Bump down Lundqvist to 90 overall but let him keep his high elite. Raanta should be around 85ish. And I don't know if you've changed it but fix A.Nylander to med-elite playmaker and change his stats. He always becomes a rookie with 99 in offensive-awareness and passing for me if you don't fix him, and he is not a two-way forward. Last but not least, Rasmus Dahlin in Linköping, SHL should get a real boost to med-elite, since he's supposed to be a really promising defenceman in both ends of the ice in the future.
Holy Adrianna. But Eichel deserves medium franchise? I'll pick Matthews over Eichel any day. I just said that Eichel and Matthews should have same potential whether it's low or medium franchise. And I know Dahlin deserves medium franchise but he still have a few years to develop and hasn't played a game in NHL so i was thinking he could have High-elite or low-franchise to begin with but he'll certainly be a med-franchise in the future.
On another note, Martinez is nowhere near a 87 overall low elite player. He's been so overrated since the gwg against the Rangers. He should be a 85 overall low or medium top 4 player.
Lill Jacke Matthew doesn't deserve Franchise, only players that will most likely be Hall of Famers ex. Mcdavid, Crosby. Matthews isn't and never will be anywhere near the 2, more close to a Malkin or Draisaitl

Rasmus Dahlin is supposed to be the can't miss #1 Overall Pick in 2018, touted as the next Erik Karlsson. Plays in the Swedish Elite League. Definitely should be a High Elite offensive defenseman. Pastrnak is having a career year, should be boosted in either overall, potential, or both. Austin Czarnik is having a good season in Boston, he should be an everyday player at least. Konecny probably deserves a slight overall boost. Those were just the few I noted. Additionally, I know that a guy like Kailer Yamamoto is supposed to be a Top 10 pick in 2017, but ends up with High Top 6 AHL F potential, that should be edited, and potentially adding a US HS guy like Casey Middlestadt would be a good idea for the Year 1 Draft.

Edmonton's Adam Larsson should be strong physically, defensively and capable of moving the puck. Don't make him so strong so as to be undisciplined because he is that steady shutdown guy.
Matt Benning is already a capable player similar to Sekera's style. I would suggest he gets a boost to 80-82(at best).
Maroon has played a solid year. Deserves a little finisher ability. He has a small jump in his step in comparison to his in-game character. You may have already done that since I noticed he was an 84.
Caggiula is a capable player. He plays a hard game. He's not a huge point producer. He should have a higher defensive ability and physicality since he has carried the third line centre role really well. Bring him around 80-82.
Truth is that Edmonton has had depth all year. When people have gone down, there has always been someone who can step in and play.
Pitlick, Lander, Pakarinen, Davidson, Gryba, Fayne, and Nurse all stepped in at one point and weren't detrimental.
I think these minor tweaks will be more like their current placement in the standings.
When I had Gustavsson I noticed he played nearly as much as Talbot even though he is terrible. Not much you can do about that. I don't know if giving Talbot a higher endurance would help or what. I feel like the fix would be too experimental.

On the Red Wings, Anthony Mantha has played really well this year (11 goals, 19 points in 25 games with a +11) and is playing on the top line along side of Zetterberg and Tatar. I'd say he should be at least 83-84 overall. Also with every franchise mode I play in NHL 17 I can't grow him over 84 overall so you may want to look at changing his potential from low elite to something else. Other than that I think the rosters look real good.

Horvat- Keep him at 86 overall with medium elite potential(he's leading the Canucks in goals and points and he's their best prospect)
Stecher- Make him an 83-84 with medium top 4

Granlund- Make him an 83-84 with low top 6 potential
You should add Colin White to the game, he was arguably USA's best player at the World Juniors and Chabot also deserves a boost, he was the MVP of the entire World Juniors tournament
A few changes:
1. Find out what happened with the Oilers and McDavid (and fix it)
2. Make St Louis better and Winnipeg worse
3. Lower the Kings and Doughty
4. Lower the Leafs (a bit)
5. Make the Metro better. Mainly Columbus and Philadelphia.
6. Capitals need a few changes. Holtby needs to be boosted, Carlson needs to be lowered, and Niskanen needs to be boosted. Also, Jay Beagle needs to be boosted ALOT. He is one of the best 4th liners and penalty killers in the league. (6 goals, 9 assists, 15 points, +11)
I saw you had Charlie McAvoy on the Bruins. If you put the prospects in the juniors and set their contracts to $0 for 0 years, the game will make them unsigned rookies
So he'd still be a Bruins prospect, but he doesn't take up a contract spot that he doesn't take in real life
Here are some suggestions:
- Change that hedman potential, it's a little too high and unrealistic
- I would make Taylor Hall even higher than 90 overall, as he is up with a lot of the top players in the league and I believe that needs to be recognized.
- Jeff Carter and Joe Pavelski are two guys who should be increased.
- Anze Kopitar is unrealistically good at 93 overall, I don't think he merits that kind of overall
- Edit Thomas Chabot if you haven't already

I really don't think Werenski should have a 89 overall, that's like saying he's better then Ekblad already which he definitely isn't. I think he should be 85-87. Also lower Laines shooting, he's good but since he has the high elite potential it'll grow to that in a year or two so just lower it by about 2-3 ratings each category. Also you should add Rasmus Dahlin a 16 year old projected number 1 pick in 2018 he's a Swedish Defenceman

And maybe, if you created Samsonov, you should create Shestyorkin too. He's a Rangers pick playing in the KHL. He's been selected to play in the All-Star game and he's one shutout away from the KHL all-time record.
Also, maybe you can upgrade Timothy Liljegren as well. The top three for the 2017 draft should be 1) Patrick, 2) Liljegren, 3) Hischier
Hey Johnny, I'm not sure if you did this or not but, you need to send Ty Rattie to the Hurricanes. The Blues just dropped him to waivers and Carolina picked him up.
Panarin should be a 90-91, he is 6th in points this year and he has been one of the most valuable players for the Blackhawks this year. Even if he is elite he never grows much really so personally I would put him at his current level which is a plus 90 player.
Also some changes for some other teams:
-Phillip Danault could be higher
-Anthony Mantha should be higher overall
-Matthew Tkachuk might be around 83-84
-Scott Darling has been amazing when Crawford was injured so he might be higher
-Pastrnak is top 5 in goals I think, so he might have a better shooting category

If you could create one player it should be Andrei Svechnikov. Hes evgeni svechnikov's brother and is in a toss up position for first overall spot in 2018 draft (with dahlen), he's supposed to be the best russian out of the draft since ovechkin. You could also edit benoit-Olivier Groulx and Jared McIsaac (both are on the halifax moosehead to you don't need to create them) to be top 10 prospects in the 2018 draft with around med top 6 and med top 4 potential.
I know right now Werenski is on top of the NHL world, but ffs an 89 at 19 with medium elite. Johnny you made him higher than the face of the Columbus defence core Seth Jones whos at 88. Pls lower him to atleast an 88 or even 87. I have alot of respect for Werenski and admire what hes done, but thats insane.

You could improve Teuvo Teravainen a bit - 85 overall? Also Cam Ward should be 86-87 He has played well. Also you should improve Derek Ryan's overall to 83 so Carolina would play him in the main roster like IRL. Also you could Improve Jaccop Slavin and Brett Pesce! Make Kristian Vesalainen a 70 rated player. He PLAYED in my favorite team in Sweden but is out on loan at the moment in finland. Hes allways working hard and is really strong for a 17 year old. Also make Rasmus Dahlin a high top 4. He is 16 years old and is already playing 1st line in Swedens best team atm. btw dahlin plays for frolunda.

Hey Johnny, one thing I love to do is pull up a list of the 2017 World Junior teams and go to each player from each team and give them a small boost (Like marginal) based on their stats. Example: Team Swiss had an amazing run, so I boosted Loic In Albon to med Top 9 potential at 64 overall, I boosted Nico Hishier to 70 overall (remained Top 6 F) as he ran the tournament. Serge Weber got a potential boost to medium Top 6 D so he can get drafted (The analysts all said he is guaranteed to be drafted). Definitely something you should consider for the next GM mode, it really spices up the draft when you see more and more familiar names.

I'm not sure if you edit Thomas Chabot (defensive prospect for Ottawa) but you should give him an elite potential (red or yellow) at a mid 70 overall. He is the wjc mvp afterall

Joe Veleno and Rasmus Dahlin need to be contenders for 1st overall in 2018
Use the Rangers you'll have a good goalie in the beginning with good trade value and u have a young team plus u have Nash who's got trade value
The defense has good trade value and then young players in skjei and clendening
I don't think you mentioned anything about Anthony Mantha, but he should be an 84ish player if he already isn't. He's kicking ass with the right lines this year.
Chara 89 -> 87 (He's getting old and it Really is beginning to show)
Pasternak 85 -> 86-87 (Pastrnak has really broken out this year and one of Boston's best players)
Atkinson 89 -> 88 (Despite his incredible performance, I don't think it's enough to put him on a level with Gaudreau)
Werenski 89 -> 87-88 or MED Elite -> Low Elite/High Top 4 (Overall and potential combo are too high and are going to lead him to be way to high overall in 1-3 years into the mode)
Bobrovsky 93 -> 90-92 (Again despite this year's performance I don't think it's enough to justify him being three points over Crawford. If you want them to simulate better with these changes, boost the depth)
Gagner 85 -> 86 (Gagner can be one of the main boosts of depth the team has with his performance)
(Maybe) Stamkos + Hedman + Tavares + Doughty + Kopitar Franchise -> HIGH Elite (While they are amazing, I don't think that they are on the level of Kane, Ovechkin and Crosby. Even Toews isn't Franchise potential
Weber 95 -> 92-93 (Even if the Canadiens don't simulate well, Weber can't be the thing that fixes them. They've had a lot of their depth players step up such as Philip Danault who has been their 1st line center, so as with Columbus, boost the depth not the studs)
Danault 80 -> 85 (With the heavy injuries to Montreal, Danault has been their 1st line center and playing decently and was a 1st round pick so it's not too surprising)
Byron 82 -> 84-85 (The acquisition of Byron might have been one of the Habs' best moves lately with him being 4th in team scoring)
Matthews 87 -> 89-91 (If you're going to give Werenski an 89, it's an injustice not to give Matthews a higher ranking, his performance speaks for itself)
Manner 84 -> 86-87 (Marner has been fantastic for the leafs at 2nd to Matthews in team scoring and has done so after being heavily doubted due to his size. And again, if Werenski is 89 Marner deserves this
Brown 82 -> 83-84 (Brown has proven himself as a solid player for the Leafs with solid defense on the PK and with some goal scoring)

Athanasiou on Detroit needs a big boost. He has been quietly been scoring at a 20 goal pace since last year. It's also important to note that Athanasiou has been doing this with third and fourth line time. I really believe this kid has a tone of potential but he has a coach who since coming in for Babcock, has significantly lowered Detroit's best offensive weapons in the past few years numbers (Nyquist and Tatar). Athanasiou's potential should be medium top six or high top six and 81-83 overall.
Also, Mantha is having a great year and should be 83-86 with medium elite potential
Johnny, I'm a Wings fan, but you should lower Kronwall to an 84 and Ericsson to an 82. They're both pretty slow nowadays, and their puck handling isn't the best.
Refpuck mantha needs a up, like lower 80, but he is going to be good tho!

Just a few things to point out. Matthews should be a low/med franchise. And if you decide to go with low then you should bump down Eichel to low franchise too. Keep Laine at high elite and change Puljujärvi to med-elite. Also, Dubnyk > Bobrovsky. CBJ's major contribution were their offence so make Bobrovsky 91 and Dubnyk 92-93. Bump down Lundqvist to 90 overall but let him keep his high elite. Raanta should be around 85ish. And I don't know if you've changed it but fix A.Nylander to med-elite playmaker and change his stats. He always becomes a rookie with 99 in offensive-awareness and passing for me if you don't fix him, and he is not a two-way forward. Last but not least, Rasmus Dahlin in Linköping, SHL should get a real boost to med-elite, since he's supposed to be a really promising defenceman in both ends of the ice in the future.

Holy Adrianna. But Eichel deserves medium franchise? I'll pick Matthews over Eichel any day. I just said that Eichel and Matthews should have same potential whether it's low or medium franchise. And I know Dahlin deserves medium franchise but he still have a few years to develop and hasn't played a game in NHL so i was thinking he could have High-elite or low-franchise to begin with but he'll certainly be a med-franchise in the future.
On another note, Martinez is nowhere near a 87 overall low elite player. He's been so overrated since the gwg against the Rangers. He should be a 85 overall low or medium top 4 player.
Lill Jacke Matthew doesn't deserve Franchise, only players that will most likely be Hall of Famers ex. Mcdavid, Crosby. Matthews isn't and never will be anywhere near the 2, more close to a Malkin or Draisaitl
The way that the two of them are playing Matthews and Laine, there is a case to be made that they both could be Franchise potential, they both could eclipse 40 goals this year, and look to be a key part of the next group of generational talents.
