    I found that the wipes had mold growing in the plastic bag. How long can you keep the wipes?

    I love this. But i do have question, can i replace the coconut oil for rubbing alcohol ?

  • @lakliams

    Could i do that with reusable cloth wipes?

    • @ouroilyhouse
      @ouroilyhouse  6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Laura B.A. Hmmm I don’t see why not! I would make a mason jar of the solution and then soak your cloth wipe in it before using.

    Or wouldn't the fractionated coconut oil leave greasy streaks on stuff I don't understand why you added the coconut oil

    What about the plastic container(EO. & plastic) & the toxic (bleached paper towels) wipes?

    • @ouroilyhouse
      @ouroilyhouse  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You can use unbleached paper towels. I have seen them on amazon and at a local health store. You can also store the wipes in a mason jar, I do that most the time. They don't last long in my house so we didn't have any issues with the plastic.

    My understanding is that mothers of small children should not be so overprotective about germs. Little children should go outside, play in the mud, go outside during spring tree pollen season to expose their immune system to these things to build up their immune systems. Otherwise it's the "Boy in the Plastic Bubble" syndrome. Now if you were taking care of a beloved elderly person, absolutely keep everything germ free.

      Yes any coconut oil is fine! I have only made this with castile soap so I am not sure of a substitute for that.

    Will regular unrefined coconut oil work?

    • @ouroilyhouse

      It needs to fractionated or it will turn to solid.

    Thank you very much for the video. I am trying to double check that I have all the oils. May I just clarify whether Citrus Sinensis is what you meant for the orange and Eugenia Caryophyllata for clove?

      Our Oily House thank you very much! I was wondering if it could be possible for you to use oil's Latin names in the description box as well as common n names? It will make it easier to identify the right oils for those of us, who use different oil brands. Just a thought.

    Love it!! Can they be used as bottom wipes?

    • @ouroilyhouse
      @ouroilyhouse  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Schoolhouse On Maple You could totally make them for that too but I would switch the essential oils to lavender and Roman chamomile. 😊

    • @mariadankova9033
      @mariadankova9033 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is the exact question I wanted to ask. So what would be the proportions (N of drops of each then)?

    • @ouroilyhouse
      @ouroilyhouse  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Maria Dankova I would do 3 drops lavender and 2 drops Roman chamomile. The rest of the recipe can stay the exact same! 😊
