I enjoy watching and learning from you but I do miss the old format where you talk us through the build/ install

I’ve had a few requests for that again, I will make sure to film more of that on the next build for y’all, thanks for the support!

Whats the least spec battery i could use on a helix 7 g4n i think the g3n and the g4n has the same power specs im wanting something smaller then what you have there and probably a little bit cheaper i got a solar panel to go on my kayak to keep it charging while im out thanks

How are you charging the battery? Just pluging a tender to that quick connection?

She's coming along TJ! Thanks so much for hanging in there with us while we wait for parts to come in. That just seems to be the battle we're all fighting this year! Looks good...

Love that you are doing a build for the shop! Don't care for the transducer hanging off the boat - I personally like the cleaner look of the transducer being mounted through the scupper when the boat is designed for one. Keep up the great work man! Hopefully one day I can make a trip to AL from NC to fish with my 133x that I'm currently building

Good feedback Jeremy. We'll take some responsibility for limiting TJ's creativity on install of the graph. Since we're selling the boat at the end, graphs are one of those things the new owner may want to swap around... at least that's our experience with all the bass boats we sell. Maybe in a future build TJ can help show some other more permanent mounting options.

The HELIX 7 fishfinder he installed has side imaging...side imaging won't work with a scupper mount. This is the best mount for kayak in order to use side imaging. Side imaging can help put way more fish in the boat in a shorter time then without it.

Love watching your videos for helpful advice and ideas. Couldn’t help but notice something on this weeks video that I didn’t pick up on last week. When you plugged in the Humminbird with cigarette lighter adapter, it looks to be installed way too low unless that kayak isn’t taking on any water. The water seems like it will easily get into those cutout plugs.

Thanks! Nahh it’s about 3 or 4 inches from the floor. If you get 4 inches of water in a kayak with scupper holes... the power panel is the least of your concern 😂 🤙🏼🎣

That’s an Awesome unit man! I’m on the hunt for a Titan myself, they are hard to find right now. Especially the 13.5’s

@@KayakUSA1 yes they are, it took me 6 months to find one but we'll worth the weight.

I’m trying to decide which fish finder mount is sturdier, the yak attack or the Ram ball mount? Most videos I’ve seen of the yak attack looks like there’s a ton of play (or wobble) once the unit is on the mount. What do you think?

Are you making a battery box for this build or juat letting it sit in the hatch?

I like the idea of the 12v power plug! I hadn't thought of that. We have a Lowrance w/sidescan on the Hobie PA and there is a transducer in the front ("well" type setup) as well as an old triplescan transducer I rigged to go onto a blank pedal drive cartridge. But I was still using alligator clips (which kept rusting) for power 😂.
