I did not have maple... so I used mahogany, and finished with tung oil. Awkward deal: first coat picks the grain up, so a re-sand is needed before a second coat. Had to router reliefs to inset gauges, so they could clamp in place. That is some very nice work.
I didn't get to see this, before they took away Speed Channel. Nice guitar, and incredible (bring it back from death) , and you played it very well! Awesome wood matching and the car is really cool too! It was my first car ! Great show, thanks!✌
