Just a suggestion, you could give Proto a call and see if they’re willing to warranty the Blackhawk. I believe they own Blackhawk. They warrantied a Challenger wrench for me that looked like it was at the bottom of the Atlantic…. Just took 6 weeks.
Proto and Blackhawk are brands owned by Stanley Black & Decker. Proto doesn't "own" the Blackhawk brand. They are both children of the mother ship (SBD).
DJ if you’ll check out a kit for a Mac Z3R or Z4R it will fit your 3/4 drive black hawk. New Britain made them for Mac ,Matco ,Blackhawk and several others.
Just good at talking with people and negotiations, I do not manipulate people, but I use all my surrounds, what I hear what I see, time and the greatest tool of all, I can walk away, poor boy has poor ways, and I use everything I can to my advantage, it is my money and if someone wants some, I will make them earn it.!!

I appreciate you understanding and honest fair approach to NOT ask the manufacturer to warranty that old ratchet. Some of these guys amaze me how they expect tool dealers to replace anything and that’s NOT what these warranties are about. Please share that ratchet make & model number again so I can help you find a rebuild kit. It will be fun looking for such
I know this is an old video, but just find a snap on truck and get them replaced for free. Screw ordering parts... I've done it several times with my old snap-ons.
No Snap-On trucks around here, sometimes they come from the city a couple of times a month, but they show up if you owe them money, I have been able to get parts online though!
