She literally is the only reason SD can be enjoyable. The fact that she's a flier, has a duo skill that turns the channel on degenerate tactics/buffs and she fits on any team makes it hard to say no. The unit design, art and lines are also peak too imo. Great, fair, fun unit.
Citrinne already comes pre-packaged with Guarenteed Follow-up and Orders due to her native Oath 4, so she really only needs to copy two to fulfill the four Bonus condition... she and Duo Thórr are the biggest winners from this skill's existence, really. (Thórr since she shuts it down by cleansing all Bonuses!)
Cittrene can’t use the skill herself but she could support any ally who has the skill well :-) I use her now with alear for charge spreading which is another status too!
Prime and Pledge coming out one after another makes me soo unnecessarily mad because I have soo many faves that would want both, but they're soo expensive to get, meanwhile I have 2 orbs, im prioritizing the CYL banner, and need to save for the blue arcane tome. 😭
I want that L!Dimitri merges in November but teatime Sigurd is still available on the banner and I still haven't gotten 1 copy of him man this is a true cruelty and struggle...WHY?!?! also I am quite unlucky when even if I save orbs I experience the summon and get not a single copy man and if this November banner where's he on don't have a free spark it will be even more horrible.....😲
I was able to pull two Claude copies, but every time I brainstorm who to put prime on I keep getting stuck at 3 bonuses I can stack on the unit instead of 4 :-/ I keep getting one bonus from C - skill two from a support but I don’t want to run two dedicated “bonus” support units just to activate prime. I’ll hold onto the Claude’s for now, don’t want to bite the bullet on foddering one unit I’m confident in who I have that can utilize the skill well
Getting 4 bonuses seems like it will require a lot of set-up which I think will make it a lot more team/unit dependent. Maybe it’s easier to achieve than I think but the current DC / CC skills just do what they do without thinking which has value I think.
@@migu6528 that’s true but still requires those units to make the skill work. If you don’t have them or just want to build a different team without them the skill won’t activate. It will for sure be more powerful for those who build around it though with their team for sure
Its not as bad as it seems, when it takes only 1 or 2 units to pull off, and also considering those 1 or 2 units are units you would most likely have on your team in the first place

LSigurd with alarm/smoke and holy knight aura is getting 2 bonuses to himself, so this is a nice consideration, especially since he's kinda bulky. I wish prime DC effect was at least 3 bonuses instead of 4, but I think they're future proving this skill since we're getting a ton of bonus effects as of late.
Just got Prime 4 on my B!Chrom today and the best in terms of bonuses I've gotten is using A Fate Changed! on B!Edelgard (with her refine for Guidance and Move+1) and getting hit with Rally Spectrum while having Alarm Atk/Spd in the C slot. Unfortunately most of those bonuses are player phase so I don't hit the req for the counter.... Need one more buff somehow 😅
I dont really think A/S solo is that powercreeped so quickly because this new thing is only locked on seasonal banner and most likely if you dont get it on a redeem you will have to sacrifice your saved orbs for something more prioritized to get that skill for someone you want it on or to get Claude for him usages

It can be a great skill for certain units whose weapons or kits are all about stacking different effects, but the skill is a lot more team dependent than distant solo. For some units this new skill will be perfect, but for others, it would be better to run the distant solo one.
@@tanachisan He would need a lot of support from his team to pull that off, since his prf weapon and B slot don't give him anything to work with, so, you would need the C slot and support to even attempt to get 4 visible buffs (that aren't stat buffs) to qualify for the distant counter Ark/Spd Prime provides. The only way I might see that working is with a Citrinne team, but you would be better off with the solo skill, as it would work in a lot more teams
Brave Seliph could be more annoying to finish off in SD, especially if you run the AoE build so he’s at full HP. He already gives himself Move+1 and NFU, now you just slap him on a team with Duo Askr and bam, Distant Counter while getting your stats. Flared Sparrow is probably better still since that skill is cracked.
As interesting as that skill is, I'm still not feeling comfortable with summing on this wind banner SOLELY to give this skill to my favorite old unit. Like i'm already prioritizing other banners because they also have my attention so trying to suddenly add another banner to my priority just for this skill irks me a bit.
You got me wondering too so I tried testing it. The free alear has green feud so I brought him to the Claude paralouge. I let Claude initiate and kill on of my units to get fallen star bonus +the 2 from his weapon + his oath c skill bonus. He could not counter attack my alear with G feud so I think you are correct that feud skills counter the prime DC effect :-) how does bramimond feud effect work?

We don't have the other variants of Distant Solo and it already got powercrept 🤣 Definitely gonna give this to Winter, Brave and Legendary Marth if I had the chance of getting this.... And since I want to spoil Pirate Vika so much she will have this as well (putting her Res to very good use). I'm sure Summer Norne and OG Catria will love this as well. On Axe may be Brave Ephraim specially when I gave him Armor Stride and Echidna. Not sure if Young Minerva would want this since she has prf a skill.
Think my opinion will be unpopular cause I think the prerequisites for Close/Distant Counter can be annoying sometimes and the extra benefits are only a few extra stat points. A few extra stats on its own don't make much of a difference anymore in the current meta imo. If you manage to give 4 buffs to any Close/Distant Counter unit, they're already gucci in most cases.

4 buffs is the bare minimum for like any mode I think. People are overthinking it very heavily. For me stuff like duo askr, grand strategy, and null follow up from infantry null follow up. That's it. It's that simple. Ant support should give you more than one buff. Peony, the fire dance 4 that dancers have. Heidr gives 4 herself to anyone and on average, 2. Like it's not at all hard to get 4

Sadly I got the worst pull ever, I spent 120 orbs did not get any of them. I doubt I will even get any of the upcoming unit in banner with orbs that I have. I hope no one will have same luck as me.
No self sufficiency skill. It's very P2W with external support, at least for now. We"ll wait and see when we get a new F2P unit with at least 2 status effects from the weapon so He/She can use that skill with an Oath 4, spd smoke 4, panic smoke 4... And they can't be extra movement because as it is right now that is the only status effect available on sacred seals. That or they"ll give us a perf with 3 status and nothing else but stats. One possibility would be dull status, bonus doubler and dodge status effect with only the 5 stats in the weapon. All this effects had been in Holst or Linus. With 3 effects it wouldn't need to run a tempest sacred seal not losing stats that way.
Self sufficiency is kinda overrated in this game. All the best team comps right now are just running a bunch of units who offer party wide support effects pretty much
Prime is great, but to say it outright creeps A/S Solo isn't exactly correct. Really depends on team comp. Plus we'll probably see Duo Thorr more now. Also L!Azura can use one of the Order skills in the Seal slot to meet all 4 of the condition.
Why did Atk/Spd Prime have to leave out Dragons for? I can kind of understand tomes and definitely staffs just to be consistent I suppose. It looks like a great skill otherwise.

Do Saves count as a bonus? If so B!Edelgard could have 3 bonuses active on her just by her self and would only need support for one more bonus, like bonus doubler. But if this is the case I would probably wait for any other prime skill that doesn’t use speed lol.
Honestly, the dumb part is that its universal to any physical type weapon. Like there are barely any reasons to run any other form of DC/CC/Solo counter attack skills now for physical units (unless their spd is THAT horrible). Like honestly it should have just been for only bows and daggers so at least A/S Solo would still be useable on Physical Melee. Like IS really doesn't care about how quick they're just powercreeping the fuck out of skills literally a few months apart. Peony gives you 2 unique Bonuses, Mirabilis gives you 2 unique Bonuses (if you run Orders SS on her), L.Eliwood gives you 3, Citrinne gives you 2+, Naga gives you 2 unique Bonuses, etc. It really isn't that hard nowadays to reach 4 unique bonuses, ESPECIALLY Peony being free.
Many people will run the prime skill? well its locked on seasonal and its on Claude so I dont think that many people will actually pull it off unless some people with no interest into this banner and different saving orbs ideals just go into it and get themselves that skill or claude anyway regardless of wasting their savings for something they really saved for

most characters already give themselves 1-3 (and soemtimes 4) bonuses, so I dont think it will be that hard to use

From Fallen Byleth you can get A/S DS, Close Call 4, and Time's Pulse 4. That's basically all the fodder you need to build a god sword.

Nah, Seliph is most threatening when he has DC. This is an amazing skill for him

Well, you can give it to a Rearmed Hero and just duplicate it. The Claude that has the skill isn't that spectacular either.

Everyone use Elimine, except for when Suo or Harmonized skills are used, I believe those don't trigger False Start 🤔

No, Saves don't count as a bonus if you have it in the C skill. But it counts as a bonus from Assigned Decoy if you have Soren
Anything that has "for one turn" "through units next action" still like that. So saves don't work
