Hi, I'm Jeremy Vassar. I've been painting homes for over 20 years, and I want to help you with your painting projects. My brother Josh and I work together to make painting easy for DIYers and homeowners like you.
I've painted everything-from small rooms to entire houses-and I've tested tons of different products. On this channel, I'll show you all my tips, tricks, and honest reviews.
I know anyone can say anything online, so here’s my story to help you see what I can do.
Jeremy Vassar's Painting Journey
Age 15-21: I started painting schools in the summers with my brother Josh. This is where I learned the basics.
Age 21: I graduated from Temple University and started painting full-time with Josh.
Age 21-27: I worked up to 60 hours a week, painting high-end homes and a large retirement community-up to 60 units a year.
Age 24: Josh and I became co-owners of Handyworks Painting LLC, making our painting business official.
Age 24 (also): We started working with Danken, a company that does kitchens and baths. We still work with them today.
Age 25: We began working with Gemmi Construction, a high-end company. We still work with them too.
Age 28: I learned how to stain wood like newel posts, handrails, and steps
Age 28-38: I kept getting better, learned to work faster, and delivered even better results. We were also able to charge more for our work because of the quality.
Age 34: I started this TH-cam channel to help DIYers and homeowners with painting projects.
Age 38: I launched "Paint Your Home Now," a community to help people paint their homes quickly and easily.
How many rooms I've painted (Best Guesses):
Bedrooms: 2,000+
Bathrooms: 1,000+
Kitchens: 300+
Exteriors (partial and complete): 300+
Family Rooms, Living Rooms, Foyers, Hallways: 2,000+
Closets: 3,000+
Wallpaper Removed from Rooms: 100+
I hope I can help you make your home look amazing with paint!

"Why do one step when you can do seventeen" YOU GUYS HAD US DYING🤣🤣🤣 this is great.
Thanks Bella! I’m glad we provided a bit of entertainment for the fine staff at SW 😆
I needed a good laugh. Thanks for this 🤣
That’s what I was going! 🫡
This was so funny, love you reactions.
Oh good! That’s what I was going for. Thanks for watching! 😄
Yeah, I had the same reaction to all to all the videos. It seems like all these kind of TH-camrs spend their time coming up with things that would be useful in some regions of the world where hardware supplies are only found in trash hips, which I suppose is very useful for many, but then again those people who benefit don't spend their days watching TH-cam videos. Usually one out of...ten tips/tricks has potential, which the shash brush actually makes sense in southern Europe, because I cannot find a shash brush when I go to Greece, I had to bring a bunch of them from the US - oh, FYI, also can't readily find 5-gallon buckets, metal grades, and good drop cloths, even the paint stores there told me to bring them from the US.
Interesting about the 5 gallon buckets and drop cloths. I'll keep that in mind if I ever land a job in Greece...although that seems unlikely :)
Since you seem to like these "master" tip videos so much I'll start sending you as many as I can find...
Send them right over Gean!
I don't think that drinks his coke
What do you think it was?
@@SuperVassarBrothers the guy was snorting coke ....
Ahhh yes…I understand now. Clever and I agree😂
They're filming for content, not quality.
It’s working for them I suppose
Lol you're just mad because they've exposed your best kept tricks of the trade. I've seen those piles of coke bottles in your videos. 😂😂😂😂
But honestly yeah.. Pouring the paint cans would be cool to see. I bought a couple spouts for my cans. They have 1 gallon ones at Lowes that cost less than a buck and work great. They also have one for quart cans I use.
Honestly the thing im finding the most difficult as I continue to paint my house is caulking. Id be really interested in seeing how you remove someones previous horrible caulk job on trim and redo it yourself. Whoever the builder of my home sent in to do the caulking looks like they came in and smeared goo everywhere in the dark and walked away from it. Its been awful fixing it all
We just did a caulking video, but we didn’t show how to remove old poorly done or failing caulk. That’s a good idea for a video. I had to cut out old caulk yesterday. We’ll film it the next time. Thanks for the recommendation good sir 🫡
These videos are rage bait...
It got me hot and bothered
How about hot and buttered @@SuperVassarBrothers
