it's nice to hear someone outside of the big names riding this bike. i'm fixing to purchase one as my first bike to learn how to upgrade and work on one. great video update. keep them coming!
Did you have any issues with chainstay clearance? Did you have to add spacers to bottom bracket? How is the chain line? Did you use a lekkie chainring or did you stick with the stock Bafang chainring? Also we’re you able to put a shark battery on it or are you just using a bag battery?
I live in Canada Walmart doesn't have them in store feom what I saw but if you'd order it online it would be about $450CDN +tx, currently you can get a Cube aim pro 29er or similar "bike shop" brand hardtail with huge rebates, would you still get the Ozark trail?
What Rise are you using? Hight? I'm looking to put one on as well my back is killing me at 6.3 it's a bend.... I'm thinking of going up 3 in. or maybe even looking for a "reverse Riser".
Hey buddy I’m looking at possibly getting this bike but also thinking about the canyon 5 and xtrada 6. First time buying a bike… any suggestions? Thanks!
Honestly I don't have experience with the others that you mentioned. I love my ozark trail ridge because for the price. I was able to get on the trailers faster and then upgraded parts as I progressed in mountain biking
Please reply, What is the size of the tool to remove the free wheel or cassette? want to change mine but I don't want to buy more tools that I don't need.
I'm really hoping that these bikes bring the bike industry back down to earth in their pricing. Wishful thinking.
Love everything bit the dork disk killer work

That just answered a lot of questions for me. Outstanding job Sir 😊
Nice bike buddy, I got one yesterday and its a killer deal. Had to get one before prices go up.
You're gonna have a blast with it.
Some nice upgrades. Cut up an old inner tube and wrap that chain stay.
Yeah I need too get on that!
PNW dropper fork? Or dropper post? 2:00...🤔
You heard the man 😂 it’s a booty fork
PNW Dropper post. Rockshock TK silver fork.
@2Juiced2Ride you might be on to something
Specs or model on front wheel or a link. ?
I just bought one. Nice bike
The fork that you got, was it tapered or straight tube? If tapered did you have to replace the headset bearings?
Could you put a 120mm or 140mm fork on this bike? Thank you!
It pretty nice bike from Walmart that is where I alway get my just to ride on the local parks trail
I bought that bike put mid drive motor on bbshd 1000 w 52 v it's a beast total weight 60 lbs I love it

@@greensleeves8095 the chain stay is good the chain line is off a a little ill probably buy a after market sprocket no spacers
What MM kit is needed for the bike? 68mm, 100mm or 120mm?
Hi, did you have to update the headset to accommodate the new fork? I assume the new fork is a straight tube, not tapered.

I've never heard of the Cube Aim so can't comment.
@dennis is the head tube a true tappered head tube? Also did the cage bolts interfere with the dropper post?

Nice 💪🏾 upgrades
I respect you upgrading this kinda bike bro. But I would highly recommend taking off the dork disc.
Lol I keep cuz it looks hilarious 😂
@@Dennis-kt6md 😂👌
Those ixf crank arms flex so badly. 😢
They feel solid to me. I haven't felt much flex in them.
I have them on my bike and I never feel any flex
This or the Giant Talon 4 on sale for $500 now?

Check out Berm peaks channel. I'm pretty sure he mentioned the tool on his build list. I don't remember the size.
@@Dennis-kt6md Thank you
Im debating if I should just get a Polygon Xtrada 7 or build this walmart bike up like Berm Peak. What do you think? is the Xtrada 7 the better bike?
The xtrada7 is way better tbh. You're not going to be able to build it up for cheaper than the xtrada unless you get good deals on parts.
Did you have to change your chain when you upgraded to a thirty two teeth
No I kept the stock chain
What is your spacer configuration on the hollow bottom bracket?
Example: 2x crank/drive side, 1x other. Thanks
It's a dropper post
=P post, not fork =)
So the stock shifter works with the advent deraiueur?
Yes
