I'm not the most tech savvy so I'm very hesitant about doing this because I'll probably download it like 20 time in 20 different places. Recommendations about where/what folders to pit them in to make it easier is appreciated

How did you open a new window to split the screen? My desktop doesn't have start a new instance?
Why not extract the game file before dragging it into the folder?
its just a optional choice, sometimes the smaller folder is easier to send between computers.
