Just some advice load your vicheal up for the trip and put it on weigh bridge too get your weight ,if the worst were to happen insurance won,t cover you if your over weight.
Brings back memories Mitch of doing those things myself. Great video when you said shed session I thought we were going to see something on mens health lol
Nice. I’d recommend you invest in a torque wrench and loctite/thread locker to give you extra piece of mind that your bolts won’t rattle loose over time, especially over corrugations
Interesting suggestion re thread locker - where would you use it? It appeared to me (and based on my experience) the bolts on brakes self weld to some degree in use. Yes, torque wrench is a great idea, also car stands!
@@Bennyboy-dog I’d apply it to bolts of the anchor bracket, or the “brake slide” as he calls it. He also mentions he had to use some elbow grease to undo the bolts… that’s a good indication that they are supposed to be tight
Great informative video, however I am curious as to how you released the pistons once recessed. Or does that automatically release once you press the brake?
Good tip. Use the old pad with the clamp to push both back evenly. Awesome video
Yea it was a ripper tip I got too!
Well done, I enjoyed that. I’d definitely like to see more of these 👍
Cheers Phil! Appreciate the feedback mate!
Nice job. And you explained it very well for those who have never attempted this type of maintenance. Cheers mate. 🍻
Cheers Darren!
Yeah great video Mitch, interesting to watch, can’t wait to see your trip up the centre🤙
Thanks Brent
Great vid and yes, I'd like to see more Shed Sessions. 🙂
Yea! Thanks Paul

What a great diy video. Thanks for that more confident to try myself. Keep doing them.
Thanks mate,
Yea 100% sometimes you just have to see it done to have a crack!
Missed seeing Jess. She could have bought out a beer and said hi
Loved the shed video
It wasn’t through a lack of asking… haha Nah Jess was busy studying for a big exam.
Thanks mate!
@@Wanderingaus_adv haha. Can’t stop the studying then, sending good luck for the exam

Car stands for sure! Maybe a trolley jack! lol
Great vid enjoyed
Cheers Colin
I find its best to use an old brake pad to compresss the brake piston evenly and lift the lid off the brake fluid reservoir
Yeah good tip! Thanks Greg 👍🏼
Yes , a good idea to get someone to check fluid reservoir so it doesn’t overflow onto paintwork
Great informative video, however I am curious as to how you released the pistons once recessed. Or does that automatically release once you press the brake?
Great Q mate, That’s why you first jump in the drivers seat, you need to turn the car on and pump the brake pedal to build the pressure back up.
Are you going to upgrade the rear drums to disc brake as well at a later date ??
Yea plan is too, just doing my research first
Hi how many km on the ranger ? Really like your vid
Just ticked over 106k mate! Cheers Stephen
Hi guy just checking in are U ok
