Where is Hunger 5 Totem's location please, can't find it anywhere. Everything I read says it's found in the mine by Sam which would episode 10 but I can't find it. Any help would be appreciated cause it's driving me fuckin nuts lol
@@klassicsubzero When you finish climbing the cliff as sam in chapter ten. Drop down the ledge. Don’t go up the stairs. Then as you are walking there is a small gap between the spikes sticking up. If you go to the shovel you gone to far.
@katiewilliams9222 Someone else had told me last night, I should look in Chapter 9 as Sam before opening the door for Mike when he is in the Sanitarium in the cave to the left of the spikes. That's exactly where I found it so it's not Episode 10 it's episode 9 but thanks anyway
Ashley is the only character who doesn't have a totem pole that predicts her death. The totem pole that in the original Until Dawn predicted her death was replaced in this remake.

As much as I'm sure tons of people are satisfied that there's finally an ending where you can save Josh, it would've made more sense if one of the totems that Josh has to pick up contained a vision of the "wendigo Josh" ending to explain how finding Josh's totems prevents his wendigo transformation.

One thing I prefer of the original cutscene for the events of the past is when the violin fully kicks in when the stranger starts burning the makappitew as in this version it plays earlier than the original does
They should've left the ashley loss totem instead of reworking it into the stranger's death, since its unavoidable at all. Otherwise, the rest of the reworks are now actually useful like danger totems

so basically the Stranger's grandfather killed wendigos till the only one left is the makapittew and then the miners came a new vessels for the spirits of wendigo to possessed.

If I'm not mistaken, it was said in the remake that some original totems will be changed or removed from the plot and replaced with new ones. I don’t know the reason, but apparently the creators wanted to add something new, besides adding a new category of Hunger totems.

Death totems: no changes Guidance totems: Totem 2 used to show mike getting his fingers caught by a bear-trap. The purpose of this was I you chose to amputate your finger of with the Machete or pry it open with it which will work but lose your usable machete. (You need the machete to protect yourself later on, if not, the wolf will intervene and will get killed by the wendigo) totem 5 used to show Emily giving Matt the flare gun, which most players, because they keep agreeing with Emily plans as Matt, he will use it on the tower instead as a defense if he gets attack. Now it tells you in totem 2 to have sam hide and 6 to block the door with the locker Loss totem: the only change was Ashley in totem 3, being replaced by the stranger (which you can’t control his destiny) Danger totem: big changes for sure Because most of these in the last game are useless, they gave more danger guidance for Matt, Emily and Jess for sure the original have mike in 2 dangers but he’s the only character that can last longer as Sam is. Fortunate totem: just gave Matt a boost

Up until the near end of the game when Mike accidentally unleashes the other wendigos, Hannah is the only wendigo running around and she's also the one who potentially kills everyone (Wolfie being the only exception).
Im excited to see what the movie will have in store after they re released the game this story was so interesting it will make a great movie i just wonder what gameplay choices they will encorporate

I had always wanted that, if you gave him the Flare gun and still let emily drop that he actually gets to keep it to save a shot. I haven't purchased the remake and I am doubtful this is something they would've added (mostly cause this is in the finale of the game and like, every QTE failure in Sam's section or Matt/Jess' section results in a death since it's the climax)
Matt having the Flare Gun will save him from the Wendigo if Matt chooses to Save Emily instead of Jumping off the broken radio tower. But if Matt jumps off the broken radio tower then the Flare Gun will have no further use. Correction: Matt getting the flair gun isn't enough cause if Matt agrees with Emily about going to the radio tower then Matt will fire the flair gun and when the tower goes down and Matt tries to save Emily then Matt will die. Matt has to disagree with Emily and insist on going back to the lodge. This way when Matt gets the flair gun Matt will not fire it and when the wendigo drags him then he will have the chance to use the flair gun to save himself.
I expected The Events of the Past to be slightly different now there’s Hunger Totems in the game but it wasn’t lol just wish there was more to them personally
i think that adding hannah totems partially killed the main intrigue. also, some totems were reworked and\or removed to simplify important choices, now it's harder to make a mistake. which is not cool, imho. i like how many totems in the original were kinda vague but it was a good thing cause they made you THINK and consider your choices. now it;s just... do as it's shown and profit. laaaaaame.

The remade score for this scene is much much better, the original sounds like homelanders theme with the overuse of the violin screeches to produce an artificial intensity. The music in this flashback changes to semi hopeful/somber to capture how important this moment is in the story

So its not really a dangerious situation while playing the game when this case happens after you finished it.

I think it was also a reason why the curse of Makkapitew went to Hannah (I assume), and the curse went to Sam (I assume again).
