To be fair, tank busters aren't usually associated with half-room cleaves.
@@duskblade1119 actually many bosses have done tank busters that are cones… arr ifrit and titan and shiva. Bosses from the ivalice raids, susano split storm is a line tanbuster… so yeah the unwritten rules for tanks is always fave them away from where everyone is…

Best alliance raid since Ivalice
The mechanics are fun but boss damage and HP is severely undertuned (even for an Alliance Raid) which will be really obvious once people have learned it and start running it weekly. These bosses are designed for first-timers, insanely forgiving of mistakes and there are zero mechanics which require all 3 alliances, meaning pulls can be rescued even from 20-22/24 players dead. HP is tuned for more like 16 people instead of 24 . We're gonna be seeing mechanics skips once you get full raids of people who have already cleared, which is insane when we don't even have higher tier gear yet.

@@AngelMercury it's "normal" because you get animation locked. What level are you? Because the orange jump changes to blue jump and gets much faster

I just got around to this Alliance yesterday, and am surprised to say that I had fun with it, I generally don't enjoy the 24 man content in this game due to boss HP bloat (SB and ShB specifically) but they didn't bloat the HP for this one it feels like
And it was somehow a run we didn't wipe on even though Alliance A and C got obliterated by one of the pushback attacks
The nier raid were way more unforgiving i think

I agree that dropped loot should be 600 or not weekly locked on this. Crafted Gear is 590 now
They will never let casual content gear have the same stats as savage content gear
@@Mysterious_XIV That's fine, but it shouldn't be weekly locked :( It's basically just glam for good players and *nice* gear for everyone else. No reason to lock it.
@@Mysterious_XIV they literally already do though? the tome gear already upgrades to savage ilvl equivalent. theres no reason not to make alliance raid gear the same.

@@SuperTerroristMan Alliance raid was always slightly under the upgraded tomestone one, even with Nier 3 it was not the same level as Upgraded Cryptlurker who was the maximum for someone who don't clear Eden Savage to get Edenmorn gear, so for a non savage raider (like me) the Best gear availaible was Full upgraded Cryptlurker armor and accessories but only 1 upgraded ring with a normal Cryptlurker Ring (you canno't had 2 upgraded ones) and your final 80 relic weapon, it was my end ShB and early EW gear

Damn, the raid aesthetics are gorgeous! And Azeyma looks just... dayum! Also gear looks awesome for glams (despite being YET another Greek looking armor/clothing).
BUT, ONE single simple thing: this raid is wa-a-a-y too freaking easy! Like, World of Darkness level easy. Yeah, you need to watch for some mechanics, but they are extremely obvious and have very generous time windows to resolve. Considering how strong tank self-sustain, Tankbusters slap like a wet noodle and all raid wide damage gets healed almost instantly. Also you can safely disrespect a good portion of mechanics and be completely fine.
(Thanks to this video, I learned, that on Byregot fight glowing blue knockback zone DO NOT instakills like in normal fights, but deals laughable 25k under vuln stack with no mitigations, less than a tankbuster).
I don't want savage level difficulty in Alliance, hell no. But, please, SE can we NOT have another Crystal Tower, that you can run while sleeping on your keyboard? I miss Ivalice raids launch days so freaking much... I
Every AR is easy if you know what to do, ivalice is not harder than this one. It looks easer when you watch other people doing it.

The gear really should be 600 or at least 595 and not be weekly locked. You can already get multiple 590 pieces from weekly tomes and can also craft it now.
Alliance raid gear has always been this way. It's catch up and alt gearing. It's always been equal to the unupgraded capped tome gear.
@@ZariLutus Yeah but still. It means one extra piece of gear a week and you are not even guaranteed to get it so you have to potentially do a bunch of 24 man runs.
@@kwedl how you can get multiple 590 for weekly tomes? you can get only 450 tomes per week and you can only get 1 accessory for that. for everything else you need atleast week and a half worth of tomestones. You also get one coin per week you can use to upgrade 590 tomestone gear to 600 version. AR is for catchup gearing.
Yh keep the 450 tomes a week with a coin but unlock the alliance gear to be farmed

It's sad that being reported for something like that is a danger. I quit this game because of how ridiculous the reporting system is. You can not do anything wrong and somebody could be mad at you and you'd get locked in jail with a strike on your account.
Personally I'd report anyone for purposefully getting the entire raid cleaved
