In this video we finish the process of Honda civic ep3 type R K20 (k20a) engine swapping my Honda jazz / fit. This is one of the most challenging modifications I've ever attempted on my TH-cam channel - has it been worth it? We attempt to take the k20a2 swapped honda jazz for a first drive but will it survive?

The 1.5-litre i-VTEC engine from the 2018 Honda jazz sport sounds better in my opinion really would’ve liked to see that be put in but the civic swap is a sick idea

Also be careful of the idle air control valve, in the jazz they tend to rub in the radiator and short out. You can get a IACV relocation plate from Ktuned to rotate it and stop that happening. Again I’m doing it on mine.

I bought my first k series car (fn2) the other day. It's so much fun and lovely to drive. I couldn't afford a nice ep3 so settled for an fn2 instead. K is the way for sure

Honestly, K20 in a Jazz was my dream like 14/15 years ago when I had one. The Honda Fit scene in the USA was pretty well established by then and there were kits available to do the swap but sadly I never had the money.
Absolutely legendary work, massive respect!

I will let you know if Mini Cooper brake discs (280mm) work with ep3 calipers. I’m just waiting for some collars to allow the discs to fit the jazz studs then I can start offering it up to see if they actually work. I’ll keep you updated.
The jazz chassis is actually incredibly capable. One of the most underated entries into high momentum style sports car. On top of this the aftermarket, family donor /swaps available are ridiculous. I can't recommend them enough.

Very Hondary. When you come to fit the shifter correct. I would highly recommend a Acuity shifter. I found the stock DC5 shifter very sloppy and the Acuity not only shortens it, it is solid. After suspension its my favorite mod on the car.
Ive never commented in your vids jack but for this one i just had to😂 18:07 is what we as car guys live for! I absolutely loved this build and the transformations you've put this car through. I must say i appreciate that you put so much into 1 vid instead of stretching it out to 10 vids, keep it that way bro, also the exhaust is perfect 😌 yes i know it's loud and might be a tad bit obnoxious but it's what the k-series love because these motors breathe a lot of air and well that's the point of the car too even before the k swap😅 next step you should tune it and squeeze more power out of it all motor, you can beat on it all day long and have fun and it wouldn't break, turbo it and you'll run into some problems, loved the vid jack, keep it up! You're a legend 🙌

The vibrations could just be because the new motor mounts are probably very stiff compared to the worn out old ones. Not sure what mounts you went with but stiffer mounts are going to transfer more vibration. My old B18c eg on hasport mounts used to feel like i was rattling the car apart. Also forget a body kit. I would just source the Sport body trim and put a small duckbill on the back but that's just my style preference. Buddy Club or Form/Function coilovers are a good value around 1-1.5k for the set.

I did this many years ago , I fitted an escort r/s turbo engine to a bog standard 1.3 escort not as much work as you’ve done as it just fits straight in really , but there’s more to it than you think and I thought I’d done well as it was the same engine with bigger cc and more power but the engineer ripped my work apart , and gave a long list of demands for insurance purposes , took me ages to get it on the road and cost a fortune getting engineers out

Add a really nice bodykit to the car it will give it an amazing look to go with the engine under the hood, also some really nice wheels and a paint job would give it the finishing touch for the outside of the car

Address the weight on the front, move things like battery and screen wash bottle to the boot, get proper rated springs front and back. Look at getting a wing and diffuser to keep the back end stable. Don't know if anyone has mentioned about a rollcage.
I feel like (as much as i love the Lamborghini exhaust setup), putting a proper calculated exhaust system on that car would make it so much more enjoyable and it’ll run so much better as well.

Keep it N/A, and keep the outside stock, like a sleeper... Put EP3-style wheels (i think there are 4x100 non-original look-alikes out there, not sure if they fit), make a "Jazz-R" custom badge (as a tribute to the VTi-R EG's)... I'd love to do something like this to my own Jazz, well done!!!

How do you get the wiring through the firewall - I've not been able to find any videos on how to do it and I as my car only does small drives (I live on an island), I want to install a CTEK panel which requires going through the firewall.

This jazz is perfectly fit to be a sleeper car and put a street tire or a slick tire, and also change the rims that fit with sleeper/street race
You need to get this to Dyno Daze for them to map it. The flames out of that exhaust would be next level!!
