    I'm a big fan of Richard Dawson, but it's nice to see other celebrities being picked for the Super Match!

    Gene's heartfelt exchange with Janie at 06:58 about their shared experience with airsickness is weirdly hilarious. But Jo Anne's comment at the end is priceless: "Wonderful story," follow by Fannie shouting "Dinner break!" Ew, but I'm still laughing.

    H/H match update:
    ...
    Today's action:
    Our champion won her second game in the final moments of the last program, so we start right off today with the Super Match...
    Today's (first) audience match question: "Bing _________" (My thoughts: Cherry, Crosby, Bang bong??? -- I pity the third-chosen celebrity today!)
    The celebs: Charles (Crosby), Richard (-o), and Jo Anne (bang)
    The choice: Crosby
    The answers: O, Cherry, Crosby
    (Wow! This is the fourth day in a row that Charles has come up with the top answer on the board!)
    Last time our champion chose Richard, but didn't match. Generally, the contestants who choose Richard tend to stick with him, even after two or even three misses. Today I think there's a chance that she might try Charles, since she's taken his audience match suggestion two days in a row. Maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part, but we'll see...
    "I'll go with Charles this time," she says. Wow! Did she really say that, or am I just imagining it? This is CNR's first time at the H/H since way back in episode 631 and 628 before that (he matched both times). Looking back a little further, he played in 532, 536, and 537 (all losses), but he matched in 530. Well, enough history! Let's roll the video...
    Today's H/H question: "Ugly __________"
    (This strikes me as one of the easier H/H questions. I think "duckling" is the best possible answer. A possible modern alternative would be "Ugly Betty" the TV series, but that's out of consideration for 1976.)
    The contestant is nodding, indicating that she's already thought of her answer and is happy with it.
    Charles is a bit more cautious, thinking it over a moment and glancing at Brett. When he writes his answer, it's clearly on the long side, suggesting to me that "duckling" is a possibility.
    The contestant says she's ready, but Gene dutifully reads the question one more time and shows her the card. She confidently says "duckling" and receives a wild round of applause.
    Charles plays coy, dragging out the big reveal. He says that Brett wrote ugly "American" (which is a good answer, one I hadn't thought of). Still, I think "duckling" is the definitive answer...
    And yes, Charles reveals the winning response!
    Charles scores his 22nd H/H match today!
    ~~~After a relatively quick game, our champion returns to center stage for her third go at the big money.
    Today's (second) audience match question: "Run _________" (My first thought was "Run Joey Run," the hit song I remember from 1975.)
    The celebs: Charles (for your life), Fannie (for your money), and Richard (way)
    The choice: For your life (I think I would've said runway here.)
    The answers: Joey Run (!!!), Away, For your life (!) (Had I been the contestant, I would've struck out!)
    Wow. Five times in a row now that Charles had the top answer!
    Stay tuned tomorrow for the H/H match!
    Here's the updated leader board showing the 11 celebs with at least 3 H/H matches, ranked by accuracy:
    (Note, for tied scores, I consider the one with the greater number of matches to be higher; if the matches are equal, the celeb who first achieved that score goes on top.)
    Orson Bean - 100% (4 wins in 4 attempts).
    Gary Burghoff - 83.3% (5 wins in 6 attempts).
    TIE: Jo Anne Worley - 75% (3 wins in 4 attempts).
    TIE: Joyce Bulifant - 75% (3 wins in 4 attempts).
    TIE: Betty - 50% (17 wins in 34 attempts).
    TIE: Fannie - 50% (10 wins in 20 attempts).
    Charles - 48.9% (22 wins in 45 attempts).
    Jo Ann Pflug - 44.4% (8 wins in 18 attempts).
    Brett - 41.4% (24 wins in 58 attempts).
    Richard - 40.3% (167 wins in 414 attempts).
    Bert Convy - 33.3% (5 wins in 15 attempts).
    *These stats include every head-to-head match from episode 1 through 707, excluding the lost/missing/damaged episodes: 31, 32, 33, 311, 312, 313, 324, 325, and 645. (As per MatchGameProductions, these episodes "are nowhere to be found and also aren't in the Goodson/Todman Library. Sadly, looks like they are lost forever!")
